After six games? I've seen tons. Kurt Warner was one early in his career. As was Tom Brady soon after. Hell, Bailey Zappe was one for two games. If Purdy becomes the next Brady or Warner, 90% of fans will hate him in three years.

Would be everyone if it weren’t for the Trey Lance apologists. I hope Lance is ready to battle next season but how could you not enjoy this Purdysance and see that he may be the 9ers’ future?

The most amazing TD was the one that didn't get caught, near the end of the game when he scrambled all the way to the left, then back across the field to the right, and nailing Aiyuk in the back corner while getting hammered. But Aiyuk dropped it.

Brock Purdy isn't a backup or replacement anymore. If Lance and Jimmy come back, Purdy's still playing.

Niners may have to take a serious look at this kid next year. His calmness in the pocket, mobility, and ability to make reads quick make him a real candidate for QB1.

With Brock Purdy .... this team is looking like the 49ers of old' with Young, Rice, John Taylor, Brent Jones, Ricky Waters ..... Brock Purdy is the real deal. I know he has a lot of talent around him but for a rookie to come in and play this way, not get rattled in big moments .... this is what separates you from the pack. His ability to extend the play, is exciting to watch.

His ability to see the field and put the ball where the player's going to be is on par with the greats like Brees, Manning and Brady. And he's got better feet than any of those 3. Also none of these guys were that polished in their ROOKIE seasons. He's really, really impressive.

Irregardless of how the season ends for SF, Purdy will have my upmost respect and admiration. I wish him and his teammates the best of luck moving forward. Thanks for posting be safe 🙏

Shanahan should be COTY in my opinion. He’s got a 3rd-string QB and had to work a new starting RB into his system; YES, they’re great players, but part of why is because he designs such beautiful plays. Reminds of Bill Walsh in the 80s when he just seemed to be a step ahead of the other coach all the time.

I do see the Mahomes a bit, Mahomes wasn't gifted a great defense like Brock but Mahomes was gifted good pass catchers the thing about Mahomes and Brock is they process the game quick even if the weapons do all the work hes not quite the escape artist Mahomes is but hes shown some flashes

I see more Joe Montana. Brock doesn't have near the arm Mahomes has, but he has all the qualities needed for an NFL QB. Even as he was off a bit in the 1st half, he came out and was better... Trey Lance and Jimmy G - flipping burgers next year. :) or on the bench in SF.

As long as he keeps winning, keeps making big plays for the team, he's the starting qb for the 49ers. Imagine if they win the Super Bowl 😯

Seeing Purdy dump off to his running back makes me reminisce at all the overthrown balls Zach Wilson threw to his RB.

As much as everyone praises Brock, and rightly so, you have to acknowledge the all-star cast he has - Kittle, Ayuk, Deebo, McCaffrey, and even Mitchell is good. He is just getting the ball to these guys, and even if the throws are not "on the money" they can grab it and off they go. And the offensive line. He's been handed the keys to a Lamborghini, and all he has to do is step on the gas pedal....granted, he does know how to drive, and pretty well.

As a Steelers fan I know it’s been a while but atleast we lost to him and the best mr irrelevant every if I am wrong that I don’t know about since I have only been watching the nfl for 6-7 years best one I have ever seen . Football in general for 8 years

Mr Irrelevant is just awesome, as well as his team mates. The 49ers are back.

Not a fan of 49ers... But i am happy for the team. Purdy is a repeat of Brady... Close to end of season, getting a chance to come out of bench.. The guy is humble, loved unanimously ... All the best to him and the team. Just don't end up like Brady :)

I love listening to Joe Davis call a game. I remember his amazing call of Bryce Harper's iconic game winning home run against San Diego this past season in the playoffs. He also called Justin Jefferson's unbelievable one handed clutch catch against the Bills earlier this season. Where ever this guy goes, excitement follows. I hope he gets to call the Super Bowl...... I am sick and tired of Joe Buck , Troy Aikman, Al Michaels etc. etc.

He can be cat quick when escaping the pocket. Hope we go all the way.

@@bunker5696 he’s definitely gonna get cut, he wasn’t originally on our 53 man roster. He got cut from the raiders roster in August. Then Jamal Adams got hurt and we were down to one safety. Then Ryan Neal got hurt and we didn’t have a safety. Abrams was an emergency signing. He probably thought if he didn’t play well he would be cut again and be out of a job. He took that frustration out on debos leg. Tbh I highly doubt he plays another down up in the NFL.

Possibly could've had 5 total TD passes. He under-threw to a wide open Jennings early in the game. And then of course that drop by Aiyuk in the corner of the endzone was also a close but no cigar moment.
