Mozart's 5th is my current favorite. Hilary Hahn's played that and it was an absolute phenomenon!

Fun Fact…Tzigane is not as difficult as it sounds and is a more approachable showpiece than some

Uh Tzigane is EXTREMELY hard. Also I wouldn’t call Tzigane a showpiece. What showpieces do you have in mind that are harder????

@@andrewohler3198 oh don’t get me wrong tzigane is still hard…just looks harder than it is…and yes I’d call tzigane a showpiece I’d put Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso on the same level as tzigane… Zapateado and Carmen Fantasy (both Waxman and Sarasate), Wieniawski Faust Fantasy, Wieniawski variations on an original theme, etc. are harder than tzigane

But it’s all relative to people’s technical skill sets…tzigane might be harder for others but they might learn other showpieces more easily than that other person

I think Ligeti should be second-worst, instead of worst. There are recognisable melodies and a very organised use of hexachords throughout the entire concerto.
