Set within the suburbs of Sydney,[11] Raymond "Ray" Shoesmith (Scott Ryan) is a hitman for hire who makes a life out of balancing his criminal activities with his obligations to friends and family. He tries to be a father to Brittany (Chika Yasumura), his daughter with his ex-wife, Jacinta (Natalie Tran), a loving boyfriend to Ally (Brooke Satchwell), and a good caretaker to his terminally ill brother Bruce (Nicholas Cassim). Ray also covers for his friend Gary (Justin Rosniak) when needed, and follows orders from his boss Freddy (Damon Herriman) without question. Ray deals with criminals and monsters in his own violent way; this behaviour, however, starts to take its toll and affects his relationships.[12]

I just realized that Ray thinks Quentin is a stupid name because his ex wife is dating a quentin. Ray and Dave talk about Dave's son being named Quentin
Southern Australia is mostly cold. Even snows in some parts . I live in the northern part of Australia. It is very hot. But still gets cold at times in the winter months, but would probably be a warm day for you 😂

Thanks for that mate. Only seen some videos on KZread about this show, but I am going to get it, looks great. Only couple of problems, with your video. Your Scottish accent is so hard for me to understand being an Aussie. Subtitles helped. Also, every time you spoke the video of Mr. Inbetween would disappear. Otherwise, loved your review.

Same in Sweden with the weather, it's almost t-shirt weather now albeit not quite lol.
It does get cold in Australia, not Scotland level cold i assume but when you live in a country where 45C degree summers are normal a sub 10C day can feel pretty cold.

Any tempertature in double digits in Scotland and its tops off and sun cream on. But i appreciate that its just what you are used to
winter loving person. ill wear winter clothes as long as i can in aus. most of the time i gotta wear fuck all or long shirt or a skirt cos the temperature difference with the under breeze is otherwordly compared to pants. this show was filmed local to me and it gave me the impression it was filmed in the winter months. i can imagine some of the mountains scenes being pretty hot in the outfits they had especially in summer. plus there is always the risk of issues with filming due to fire risks and having to waste the day and money when can be avoided just by winter filming.
It not always hot in Australia. And can get a bit chilly in the south in winter.
