Thank you for sharing this set-up!
You make everything look so easy!
Great! Now I get it! I watched so many videos bit get lost somewhere along the way !......your style did the trick, repeating slowly and plenty just like teaching kindergardeners!!!:) Thanks!!!
In the spring, I didn't have any problems sharing my screen. I would love to get a document camera! I hope we'll be able to teach online in our rooms this fall. It'd be great to use my whiteboard. I need to look into the laptop stand. Thx for sharing your setup!
Thank you! I am having to teach from home. I need to be here to help my daughter so I can't teach from my classroom. This is so helpful!
Thank you so much for sharing with us!!!
Thank you for sharing! I am hooked on your videos, you're so awesome!
This really helps! Thank you for sharing!
This is great. I would love that document view and would prefer it because children would be able to see me manually write not just type something in and kids need to write!
Thanks for all of the great ideas!

Mr.Smedley-Warren, thank you sooooo much for sharing this wonderfully organized setting. I haven’t been able to sleep for the past two weeks just thinking about how to approach this concept. After watching your videos, I feel more confident about teaching under these circumstances. You have inspired me and ease my fears. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

This is so helpful! Thanks for sharing!
Can you play One Short Day from Wicked for your kiddos one day? That would be fun. You are awesome and worthy Greg! I truly wish you the happiest year and I do hope you get to see them in person soon!
Thanks. Great setup!
This is so helpful! Thank you!!!
Thanks for sharing! Love it
This is amazing!!!
Thank you!! This is very helpful!
Lucky you for only doing 2.5 hours max for kinder. My state Public Ed Dept is equating 6 hours of live teaching for all grade levels!!! But that aside, you’ve helped me get an idea of what I’m need to do.
Thank you. Very helpful!
Awesome set up!
You’re amazing!!!
Very informative video thanks please keep sharing so we can learn as I lost my job before corona so I’m new to this type of teaching.
Thank you! Looks easy.
Thank you so much...so helpful.
Very helpful, thank you!!!
Very helpful video. Thank you so very much for sharing. 😊
Hi Greg! My teammate and I love your videos. Can you possibly create a video that shows us exactly how to hook up all of the items you use to teach virtually?
Great setup.
Very Very helpful!! Thank you 😊
Thank you, thank you!
Thank you for sharing!
Oh my gosh!!! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I have been struggling with trying to share on teams and so frustrated. some kids can't see, some can't hear.... You are an amazing teacher! thanks so much for sharing!!!! I am curious about your schedule, do you break up the two hours? we have to be live for 3 hours minimum. (includes groups). We started on the 5th.
Thank you for sharing your setup, Me. Greg. It's very helpful to see how you hooked everything up. What platform/system do you use upload your daily videos to families? Thanks in advance.
I love this
Thank you for sharing this information
Can you tell me where you got your speakers? Thank you for all you do! I love your set up and it made me feel better about setting up my classroom!
Can you please share where you found your laptop stand & tripod? Your videos are really helpful 🙏🏾
This is awesome. I will be using Google Meet from home. The first view is virtual me. Then I can toggle and show my screen.
Hi, please please, I would love to have amazon or store links where you bought your chair, desk, letters and numbers on the wall, chart, whiteboard, documents camera. You have a perfect setup. thank you so much
This is great.
wonderfully clear. I want to buy a document camera. What kind should I look for?
Wonderful! I like the document camera, smartboard, computer hook-up because it's very similar to how I teach. Not so scary! I need to find that second computer somewhere, though. :(
Can google slides if I use “visuals” would be on the school computer?
This is awesome! You can also record your team meetings with Google Teams.

Anytime I try to use Teams features it freezes up so I use my phone. Also it only shows me and they only hear me. Makes it easier for kids and families watching later!
Excellent work n setting up. When the students view the classroom and the smartboard, will they view the words backwards?
Currently I will be going back to school I have a feeling we are gonna switch to online due to a current spike of covid cases I hope my teachers will be as organized as you if this happens the last school year was a very large mess but I understand that there was little time to prepare and we were all learning together
I love your videos. Can you share the name of the lap top stand you are using?
How do you connect school laptop to SMART board? What cables/cords do I need?
You made my day!🤗 I was just wondering how we're to do everything from home like I would at school AND your video 📹 is recommended. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Question: Since I am working from home can the document camera and computer still work if I put it on a dry erase board? Thank you again for the thorough explanation.
Thank you so much for sharing! Have you had any problems with your screen be distorted on the kids view? I don't have a smart board but I have a large interactive monitor. Everyone has told me that I need to do more screen sharing and not use the interactive board. My dream was a set up like you have but with Zoom they say it's not possible.
I love the unicorn cover for your doorbell ring. Where did you get it?
How much space do you need to record entire lessons on your iPhone? Have you had to delete apps on your phone to get more space? How long are your lessons usually?
First you are amazing! Second, today was my first day virtual using teams. You were right about screen sharing. They said it was glitchy. I want to change to your set up but how do the kids make my “little box” big on their end? It seems like I’m small and they can’t see me well.
Well now I want a new MacBook Pro! Which one do you have? I trust your opinion! Great video!
Which brand of document camera are you using? Are you teaching with a mic? Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
Where did you get your door bell? Thank You
Can zoom be used too vs microsoft?
Were you a Music DJ in a previous life - Dim the lights and put on a neon tie and you are ready to get that room thumping!

@@gregsmedley Are the kids able to sing all together or are they delayed? I found when we sang last year, we could NOT sing together! Everyone was delayed and singing Happy birthday on their own. Do headphones work better to stay in sync?
Does your district require you to record your Live Teams meeting for students that are absent or want to review?
God I love your set up... wish we had help with equipment and setup
but you can share your smartboard screen on the live straming computer so kids can see it without having to face your camera on computer to the smartboard?
You should be able to hook up your document camera as a source and instead of your webcam you can stream whats the camera sees. Just an interesting idea
I have a question, being a great teacher that you are, how do you balance work and life? I've been teaching Pre-K Counts for many years and I feel like I don't have a life. I work until 10 pm everyday and I work all weekends too and still could not keep up with the work load. What's your work day schedule like on the weekdays and on the weekends? Thank you.
