His face barely changed but it did change. Cats are not that facially expressive, you’re just an (HSP) highly sensitive person, and probably notice subtle changes in facial expressions better than most people.

Awwww what a cutie! I had a cat when I was a teenager that would walk on the edge of the tub when I'd take a shower, wanting me to pet her. She'd still do it after falling in one time, I felt bad for laughing at her, but it was too cute.

I was expecting the cat to end up in the water. I was NOT expecting how calm kitty was when it went in!

@@Boostiverse Cats are not necessarily frightened of water. Rather, most of them find that being wet is highly uncomfortable. So, if they get wet, they tend to run away from the source of water.

It probably wasn't the first time it was in water so while it didn't like being in the water (it sure didn't like getting wet it seemed), it didn't panic.

That cat handled it gracefully. My cat fell in once and it was like taking a bath with an epileptic Edward Scissorhands.

My cat was named Tiger. And she fell into my bath exactly the same as in this video. It's just that she wasn't so calm after that and shot out of the bathtub like a rocket 😂

Is it better to let him learn in this safe environment or just grab him so he knows mommy has his back? I'm asking because I had an outdoorsy kitty. He lived for being outside. He had a bedtime but most of the day he was free roam and got stuck up trees and other situations. He oassed away too young. My next kitty would definitely be indoors or I'd build some outdoor area with chicken wire around it.

Mine sticks her claws in your throat if you even attempt to put her in a bath with a little water. Luckily she doesn't need baths often so it's fine

Yes, but to wet the fur it feels terrible, and then he needs to dry himself with tongue, and swallow fur ugh, that is why they avoid water at any cost. Or if you try to use a hair dryer to dry a cat, he will escape because the sound is too loud and it is annoying. They love when you talk while whispering with them.

Oh yeah, my kitten used to do that and I wasn't as smart to keep my legs close to me. Got a good scratch when she finally fell in one day (took surprisingly long considering she did it every time I was in the bath).

@@HisameArtworkhonestly i think this person was mostly joking with that comment but i am here to take it very real and dark, if the cat will be fine or not depends on where it lives. If cats get wet to the skin in cold states they actually can die bc their skin stays damp for upwards of 3 days after being fully submerged. Cats are absolutely never supposed to be wet unless theyre sick and you have to bathe them to take care of them. More often than not it’s harmless but I literally live in florida and my mother has a story about bathing a cat when it was too cold and it had gotten sick and died very quickly, thats in florida where we dont go below 30 ever. So yeah, not ideal to let your cat soak in the tub like that.

So ye, in their minds you are at risk when in the bathroom since they know that's where you go on the toilet and that being on the toilet is something that is risky so since they care they want to watch your back. Granted for a lot of them it's just instincts that tells em this but an outdoor cat would actually still have an element of risk if they ever went to shit outside or such in which case you're unlikely to get it to accept that the toilet isn't risky

Georgy kept getting himself in more and more trouble with every move. By the time he made it near the shampoo bottle there was no going back. Falling was inevitable.
