Actually mr Fuji started the feud when he threw salt to haku when he was with the barbarían in msg in a tag match. Bobby questioned him at ringside while hennan was doing commentary with gorilla threw salt at him at his direction. They had 6 man tags with both mangers included but nothing came after the July aug 91 matches

I think it was a nYC area feud only. I forget what the initial catalyst of the feud was (I think it wa Fuji managing Barbarian/Haku in Brain’s absence and costing them the match accidentally) but the follow-up match used to be on KZread, from MSG and was Fuji/Kato vs Haku/Barbarian. Brain is on commentary and talks some shit to Fuji, and Fuji throws salt in Brain’s eyes. Bobby is livid throughout the match and wins it for his team by tripping up Kato. Brain was the face in the match this promo was promoting.

that match had to have been awkward to watch

Someone in these situations would always play even if it was a de facto babyface. As crazy as it sounds Fuji-Heenan I could see he Brain being a better face. Fuji has been a heel since he was in diapers
