I had suggested a while ago that Six Flags Over Texas should have Mr. Freeze run both forwards and backwards. Glad they decided to actually do that. ❤❤

Im so happy I got to experience both directions. I do like the backward launch better though.

Wait, they are actually doing this now? Both forward launch and backward?! I believe many people had hopes of this happening. I was one of them. We are still overdue for a new spectacular roller coaster but this is great!

I’m so glad they finally did this!!!

I liked it much better when it went forward. Going backwards takes the tunnel launch view out of it and forward made the launch more exciting (and a better breeze). Glad you are giving a choice now.

I rode Iron Rattler at Fiesta Texas last month and it’s almost as good as this, but MR FREEZE Is still The Best!!

For me its official: forward first is better. It was more exciting that way. I'm so glad both are available. It gives you a choice of rides.

So how do they do it now? Is it one train is facing forward and the other is facing backwards, or did they just make it a half and half train

@CoasterMadnessjpThe only problem is, St. Louis barely ever runs both sides so most likely forwards would be open more often because of less wear.

I am going back on Monday and I am riding that I rode all the rides except super man and Mr freeze

Sorry but forward first is so much better, Backwards first gives you such bad neck pain and an intense headache so I definitely prefer it going forward first.

Is this going to be a permanent change or just temporary?

I know. It was broken down multiple times during our visit today. We queued for 45 minutes only to literally get on the ride and be told to step out because the ride was going to be down indefinitely for maintenance. It was absolutely heartbreaking. 😞

im confused, are there 2 trains where one goes forwards and the other goes backwards, or do they both go the same direction
