spikeri812 Babies high risk more reward. Auctions do have some good deals tho, claimers that sell way below what they race for in the $ claiming amount. If you're good and know your horse Flesh you can probably get a $20k claimer for under $10k.

It is all about the ooh's and aah's that people give to the person spending that kind of money. Sorry, but I couldn't justify it when there are people starving to death in the world.
