This was made when filmmaking meant something to me. The only agenda was truth. Unfortunately that's not the case anymore. But I am still alive and hope to keep creating when I can afford it.

Because we are all subconsciously unhappy with certain aspects of our lives. We want someone else to come and fix these things we think and feel are wrong, while also accepting and comforting us that we were right in how we felt. We don't wanna be the bad guy, or the "voice of reason" if it means we could ultimately end up being wrong or perhaps losing in the game. But when it is someone else's name and fame at stake, we don't mind letting others take the spotlight if it means getting our way.

I can remember listening to this back in summer of 2009, when my parents had separated (and later got back together and are still together to this day) and I was battling a deep depression as a result. I was 20 years old, coming to terms with my youthful sense of immortality coming to an end as a result of this tragedy, and I stumbled upon this music video and found myself feeling a deep connection with the character and the throes he was dealing with with his own family….at least until the masked people and the blond dude came in and started killing everyone. Either or, this track still strikes a cord. I’m 33 now, married and have a very successful career as a nurse and soon to be grad student. Thinking back to that period makes me realize how much I’ve grown since then and how much that whole situation shaped both me as a person and my current trajectory in life. Bad things happen for reasons we don’t always understand, but they ultimately serve an important purpose and that’s to make us stronger. 😊

Mr. Bungle might not be the most mainstream of bands, but this is a great song and this video, in terms of music videos in general, is one of the best I've ever encountered. Never thought anyone would be able to create video that perfectly expresses the emotion in these songs, but tkan has done it.

Yeah, maybe my parents cheated on each other, I guess yes, I do not really wanna know.. but all after all, they were such abominable human beings that all that crap made me cut ties with them 16 years ago from now. This video gives me some kind of relief because I had those thoughts many, many times. Thank you for this video. And rest in peace Mr. Woolf.

It's pretty sick reading my comment. Both of my parents died, mother in January, Father in May, and their deaths were not the peaceful ones. The only tears I have shed are those which brought back the anger. First I felt like a psychopath. But knowing and being aware that they are the caue of making me become a wreck shows me that karma will always fuck people. They're gone. I'm free.
