My brothers is 2 yrs older than me and his gf is 6yrs younger than me. She calls me by my name and i call her by her name.we also have this korean style of addressing elders and relation thingy, but it becomes so stressful sometimes on what to call others, so we just decided to call each others by names.

If you’re not Korean though, then no reason to use the Korean style 😂 leave that for actual Koreans and not just because you’re a fan of Korea. I mean, it would be different if you were maybe living in Korea or friends or dating an actual Korean even if you’re American. But still. No 😂

We must respect all cultures specially Asian cultures are more full of morality than western cultures and also asian cultures showing more respection in talking and behaviors towards elders and this is really perious, no one has no rights to say this is nonsense .

The Asian relations and titles are really complicated which is what I hate the most about my culture (because not saying "hello" to older people is considered rude and with the complicated titles I just don't know what to call extended family members that I have never met before) especially since my parents have an age gap of 10 years so a lot of my aunts and uncles children consider me an "older sister" despite being in their thirties (and I'm more than 10 years younger than them). Basically, since the brother-in-law is married to Minhwan's younger sister, in family relations he is considered as the "younger brother" so despite being older he might have to call Minhwan "Hyung".

Why is minhwan brother letting younger sister husband to stay in his home? I think in our Asian culture it's really not ok to be staying as a resident son in law.
