Mr. Brodie Lee | AEW Unrestricted Podcast

Ойын-сауық

Mr. Brodie Lee shares his journey to AEW, including his arrival as the Exalted One, how the pandemic impacted his AEW debut, and relishing his creative freedom on the mic. He speaks to the evolution of his suits, addresses the Vince McMahon comparisons, and explains why the great Terry Funk would be both a good and bad choice to join The Dark Order. Plus, Brodie breaks down the dog collar match with Cody, and what it was like having Greg Valentine sit front-row for that performance. There are also stories about The Dark Order numbers, “Being The Elite” filming, beard hygiene and care, the Stanley Cup and the Maple Leafs, and what AEW might look like in 2030.

The tribute show on Wednesday and all the clips on KZread that AEW has put out since Wednesday just shows how much Jon was loved by everyone working at AEW and just how much Tony Khan has embraced as a family all the performers and staff that work for AEW and their families as well. It is so great to see the family atmosphere in a business environment that in most businesses today regardless of industry it is all about bean counting. Very proud to be a AEW fan.

R.I.P Jon, I'm sad, - I met Jon by mistake about 5 years ago and I didn't even know who he was because I didnt ' get into wrestling. I overheard him telling a joke to a woman that was old enough to be my mother.I'm 56 years old. . The woman did not laugh at all, Not even a smile. LOL But because I was ease dropping, on his joke and I was as cracking up. He walked away from the old lady and walked up to me and said" We'll, I was just trying to share a laugh. ( I got the impression that he wasn't a little hurt that the woman didnt laugh ) I told him. Hey, your heart was in the right lace and yes, I thought it was hilarious. He put his arm on my shoulder and said" It was great meeting you. . . I walked away thinking WTF just happened? lol Anyway's one of those dudes that you liked automatically. When I see him come out as Brodie Lee I couldn't believe how different in the ring because he was the exact opposite when I met him. Truly a sad loss for for anyone that knew him. This sucks. He thought if he took time to let his body get back to normal, he'd be back in normal shape. Instead, what happened is that he had to be rushed by emergency to the hospital, the next day.
