Mr. Brodie Lee | AEW Unrestricted Podcast
Ойын-сауық
Mr. Brodie Lee shares his journey to AEW, including his arrival as the Exalted One, how the pandemic impacted his AEW debut, and relishing his creative freedom on the mic. He speaks to the evolution of his suits, addresses the Vince McMahon comparisons, and explains why the great Terry Funk would be both a good and bad choice to join The Dark Order. Plus, Brodie breaks down the dog collar match with Cody, and what it was like having Greg Valentine sit front-row for that performance. There are also stories about The Dark Order numbers, “Being The Elite” filming, beard hygiene and care, the Stanley Cup and the Maple Leafs, and what AEW might look like in 2030.

My Prayers go out to his children, and wife. By far one of my favorites, and a true throwback, my heart is just torn to see such a tragic loss, and life cut much too short... You can tell he was a genuinely good human being. God bless, and RIP Brodie Lee 💔
This makes the second time I've watched this now. It's haunting now. He even mentions not feeling the best on his exorcise bike and all, but said he felt he was getting better. :( It's absolutely crazy that he is gone now and is deeply saddening. RIP Brodie
Mr. Brodie Lee of the Dark Order should be the next AEW World Champion! 🔥

Not anymore. Brodie Lee has sadly passed away at the age of 41 on 26th December 2020 due to lung problems not caused by covid.

I wonder if anybody at AEW knew. They kinda had to right?
Brodie Lee is awesome. He is such a likable and nice guy. It cracks me up that he plays a heel megalomaniac.

Nows hes gone, RIP
I still can't wrap my head around this. This is barely 2 months ago, and he seems perfectly fine, healthy and happy. I was absolutely dumbfounded when I found out about his passing yesterday. Rest in peace, good sir, you will be missed by all.
I remember first listening to this podcast when it came out. I thought to myself how humble, and genuine this dude was. How the Dark Order was becoming such a polarizing faction. And When he was off TV, I was so much looking forward to his return and what the Dark Order would do next. Then my heart broke. You will be forever missed Brodie. R.I.P.
Rest in peace Exalted One 💔

@@EvilEldrin Devon is the actual name of D-Von Dudley and he went by Brother Devon and just Devon in TNA from 2005-2014. So he would actually go by either spelling.

Watching this brings a smile to my face, Brodie was an amazing, funny and caring person it's not hard to see the good ones die too early... Amazing performer and put his body on the line for us fans. Thank you so much Jon 1979-2020 you will be missed forever.
5:00 It's really sad and unfortunate because he said he began feeling overly fatigued, couldn't complete his exercise. He thought if he took time to let his body get back to normal, he'd be back in normal shape. Instead, what happened is that he had to be rushed by emergency to the hospital, the next day. Who knows for how long that disease was already there...It could have been manifesting for a while without him knowing. Had he got it checked much earlier, maybe that could have saved him. :(

Really enjoyable episode, Brodie Lee is quite entertaining to listen to talk. Especially details about the Dog Collar Match.

I haven't felt a loss this much since Eddie Guerrero and Shad Gaspard. All strong wrestlers/men/fathers. Rest in peace Mr. Brodie Lee.🙏✝
Brodie : Are you crying Yes we are 😢😭
The way people talk about him reminds me of Owen. This feels so similar a talent who had so much talent and never even came close to reaching his full potential. I was looking forward to seeing him grow in AEW even more. I am glad he got a little creative freedom! He will be missed!
Rest in peace. I was so excited to see his return again and now he is gone! I'm sad 😥 😞
Only just found out and thought it was a joke like the extalatled one was being born again cause he was so good at it then seeing Tony khans statement I'm shocked and heartbroken I took AEW and Brodie real close to my heart so Brodie dying is like Eddie dying to me as a kid wish you came to AEW sooner least you finished you're career with a company that loved and respected you and accepted you for you. Rip exalted one💔💛🖤😭😱
Such a genuine person who loved and lived his life to the absolute fullest , gave all had for his family ,friends and fans Rest In Peace Brodie Lee
Man this hits so different now. RIP. You left your stamp on the hearts of millions.
his dad lost the belt, but Brodie Lee Jr has it for a lifetime now. RIP, what a great father. ✋👁 - 💜
Good to see this version of John. Luke Harper was such a dark/menacing character. Good to see the real dude! Rest In Peace John.
Rest in Peace Brodie, Thank you so much for the entertainment and love.
I just wanted to hear his voice again. RIP Brodie. You are loved and remembered by friends, family, and fans.
Just learned that Brodie Lee passed away. RIP. Thanks for the memories.
This might be the best episode yet 😂😂😂
This episode truly was a very well timed gift to all of us that know...
His death truly hurts. You hurt for his family. Such an incredible big guy performer. Charismatic and extremely talented. Hes ginna be missed.
Who could ever watch this and imagine how things would end up scarcely 2 months later. So stunned. Also, the peloton ride. Chilling.
