This cover is damn near 6 years old compared the sing off thats from 2 years ago. That sing off was also the instrumental version of this song, so of course his singing won't sound the same here

I believe that the Vamps are a very amazing and talented band, but for people who have heard the original first and loved the original like me, it's kind of hard to like something with such a different sound that I'm used to. I know that the Vamps are amazing, but I feel that their voices are just a bit too polished for this song, because for someone that is a fan of the Killers their voices should sound less polished and more rocky. This kind of reminds me of the whole One Direction singing Teenage Dritbag thing. I'm a huge fan of One Direction but their voices didn't sound right with the song to me because I'm so used to the original. I just wanted to share my thoughts as to why some people don't like this cover, but I totally understand that you like it. :)

Brad is killing me; he just has this appeal,the way he holds(and makes love to)the mic,his accent,his smile... I just really don't know how you guys can say that they "suck" or "sound gay" or any of these very unreasonable things. I know people have different tastes and opinions, but I can't grasp that you actually don't think they're phenomenally talented. Bradley Will effin' Simpson,just an amazing singer with one sexy voice(there are only some live performances where he was out of breath ,and his voice just changed;it didn't have that rusty element. He was probably just tired or sick) and a very very ridiculously good-looking person like all of them are. And James man you sure are skillful with that guitar ,and Tristan is ...awesome!! Connor,well dunno what to say,very good singer and amazing bassist. Well then, LET THE HATE BEGIN (with all the "LMAO" comments and stuff) :)

Yes! Nothing can beat the original version but this version gives a teen bubblegum pop streak (in a good way) that gives it certain distinguished quality.

I really like this cover! Haven't heard anything from these guys before, but I'll definitely be looking into more of their stuff! Also, I like how they kept a taste of the original, but they threw in so many new flavours as well!
