They were my favorite "AWWWW" feelings this season as well. I thought it was going to be Tao and Elle, but I loved every scene with Mr. Ajayi and Mr. Farouk. Tori gave them competition for favorite character this season. She dominates every time she's on screen and I love how she handled David.

As an older queer who also came out later in life, I appreciated this storyline so much 🥹 There’s a special kind of grief that we carry for our younger queer selves who missed out on so much. Mr. Ajayi really was Mr. Farouk’s “medicine” 💜

As someone who came out in his late 20s, this show always carried a tinge of sadness for me because I missed out on those teenage years. So the vending machine scene really got to me, glad the show introduced a character I can relate to.

Youssef Farouk was easily my favourite part of S2 of Heartstopper. Everyone loves a hard man with a heart of gold!

I’m so glad to see Mr. Farouk’s storyline. I’m sure there are a lot of queer adults who also missed out on experiences when they were younger.

I knew something was going on between these two since the bus scene when they looked at eachother, also I felt when mr farouk said about missing out the teenage gay experiences because I was in the same situation

Every School as a Mr Farouk - scares the life out of in when your younger but is actually the best guy ever 😂

Love how Mr Farouk gets them quiet and Mr Aijai winds them back up again. Love these two.

They’re my favorite couple in season 2. Finding love later on in life is just as beautiful and important as young love in school.

There was a fan comic that I hope they include in the series where Nick and Charlie see a Marvel movie and then find a stray kitten abandoned in a nearby alleyway, and call upon the Paris Squad for help. Unfortunately, none of them can adopt the little thing, so Darcy suggests they go to see Nathan and Youssef to solve the problem. Upon arrival, we see that the two of them are organizing a date, and then Darcy, as per usual, barges in and demands to know if they can adopt the kitten. Nathan is immediately charmed by the kitten, but Youssef immediately gets all huffy and declares that Nathan will not be adopting him, but that *HE* (Youssef) will be adopting the kitten. The last panel is Youssef taking a nap on his couch with the kitten, and Nathan looking lovingly down at the pair.

A lot of the sternest, gruffest teachers I had were secretly marshmallows. I suppose you gotta be on the defensive, kids are brutal, but on the occasions where they reveal that they actually care it always meant a lot.

I find it funny about Mr Ajayi and Mr Farouk’s first moment, Mr Ajayi is the teacher that’s trying to get students to like him and Farouk is the kind of teacher students fear that if they’re rude to him, he’ll kill them in an instant!
