MPLS Make celebrated their 1 year anniversary and hosted a "Whatever Wood Derby Race." Everyone had a great time, and why wouldn't they, we were in a woodshop! My car was made entirely from my scrap piles and served as a great excuse to attempt an off-axis turning. The car ended up being voted best design, despite not finishing a race. I met some great new people and will hopefully see them all again. Thanks to Theo for opening the woodshop, hosting the event and being an all around terrific human!
