Going over the mpc one sampling and sequencing drums with a bit of mixing, ive been having lots of fun producing and making beats in the mpc one and mpc live 2. being able to sample and chop up records in the mpc one and also use the mpc sequencer to lay down your ideas has been amazing and fun. i have also been mixing my kick drums on the mpc on for a better sounding overall mix. using some of my favorite plugins like the air tube drive, air compressor, and mother ducker as I beat making in the mpc one. i hope this mpc one tutorial/workflow video is helpful as i go oversampling from vinyl into the mpc one.

Another fantastic video, Malo. The camera work and clarity is on another level! One quick question and one comment: Is it just a personal preference that you rarely use reverb on the snare drums or do you like the way it naturally hits? And can you send me the link for the wireless headphones? When I try to click on the link, it says: Sorry, we can't find this page! Blessings!

i like these workflow videos - after a year i still get so reluctant to mess with my mpc because the workflow/menu flow just feels backwards and convoluted to me for some reason (weird, when i can use trackers, daws, elektron etc no problem). this is about the 4th time ive debated parting with my mpc but im trying to build some desire up to take another approach at it. id definitely like a beginner walk through of song work flow. i get so stuck in a technical standpoint with making a track or escaping the one loop syndrome.

Question: are you able to change the tempos bpm to speed or slow down your recorded sequence?...I had trouble with it but I think I figured it out...after you converted your slices to the pad go to program edit..hit all pads somewhere on top screen the turn on warp and in bpm section edit the tempos bpm...then you can change the tempos bpm on the main screen to slow or speed...let me know if that's correct and worked thanks...

Absolutely, the zoom H6 has been my go to recorder while I film all my videos. It allows me to connect my MPC and my microphone straight into the zoom recorder so I can record simultaneously and sync it with my camera so I can mix it when I’m editing my video, it’s a little more for the video process side.

All I wana do is load them (which I did) and loop them and use them like I did with my Mac, I don’t need to edit or cut them… just wana load them, loop them and save them. How do I do this? When I load them, I think they are loading as Samples, I’m completely new to MPCs in general, any help you can give me would be awesome! Great Vid by the way!!

I can do a beat quicker and more efficiently on my BeatMaker 2 & 3 app, and Acid Pro software programs. I can’t even get my sample to match the tempo of my project I’m working on. Nice video though.
