the one+ is so dope, got me back into producing heavily after years.

had the original mpc one which broke and just ordered the one+ 4 years later. the tutorial is really good, shows the mpc workflow very well

Tip, Do more then sample. Like thats all im seeing is just mostly sampling and the mpc can do much more then that by far

Akai could of just added Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in the original mpc one they didn’t needed to make a mpc one plus

The fact they didn't put a battery in here is literally insane

SD cards are prone to losing information over time. It's best to keep your samples, etc on the hard drive.

@julius5080 that’s is why you always back up your sd card very often. Atleast once a week. If not every other day depending on how many beats you make. Just a tip I got from old school Cats that dealt with Floppy’s with old MpC.

I have the exact same 5 euro Ikea stand. Fits perfectly with the MPC Live 2. Which IMO has a superior layout wit better screen angles compared to the MPC One models.

Just wish it came in a better colour.

The headphone jack issue is quite underrated, fortunately they added 6,3 mm TRS on the key 37. As for the internal storage, it might come in handy to store plugins and programs, all the common stuff.

It's between this and a 404 for me. I'm kinda torn because I like them both. But I honestly can't stand red and not a fan of how Akai made the hardware on this so lackluster. Less than 2GB of usable RAM is laughable in 2024. Also not a fan of multiple $150 plugins running on freely available software. They are nice pads, but there's so much keeping me from spending money and I just saw one for $500 lightly used.

Have you owned a sampler like this before? 2GB is a lot of RAM for this application, it's not laughable.

MPC One has a ton of skins for 25 bucks. Mine has a Milky Way galaxy skin. 😄
