Ave... this is EXACTLY what I needed fam! I had the MPC Live 2 for when it came out, and moved to Maschine Plus (I know..I know lol), and got my MPC Live 2 Retro back, and things are slowly coming back, but the 2.11 makes it brand new, and your tutorial really REALLY helps fam. Appreciate what you do my brother!🙏🏾✊🏾💚
Some of the dopest beats have been done in whatever tune at whatever speed. Sometimes you ignore rules when the vibe tells you to. Salute to you.
BRUH… This is the truest tutorial. It’s other MPC heads on here frontin’ by telling these youngsters about sampling but never mention the key. Respect.
Not yet finished, but this one of the best mpc tips for a while. Thanks a ton!
I Love your tutorials Ave! Thank you!

I want one also but I like the way the MPC ONE kept its tradition button layout like the MPC STUDIO; but that’s a minor issue really. After seeing AveMcree demonstrations on the LIVE II; that’s what matters in reality. It has a convenient looking workflow. What do think about the MPC KEY 61 sense you just purchased the LIVE II not to long ago?

@@RaystudiosProduction I got the Akai force and the MPC live 2. And I will say, no matter which MPC you get from the new line up, you will be extremely satisfied. If you don't plan on traveling much with it, and the midi keyboard you have isn't anything special. Get the keys. But if you already have a midi controller and you want something more portable. The MPC live 2 is the way to go. If you get the keys, it comes with a 6 plug-ins that you would need to purchase separately if you buy any of the other mpc’s. At the end, they are all amazing. Just a matter of what your price range and personal preference is.

@@dannydecanhas3743 Thanks brother for the advice. Sense the Black Friday sales started and they dropped the price of the MPC One to its original retail price; I might get that or the Live II. Can’t make up my mind. Akai has so many great products that can handle any style of play or preference. Good looking out Danny; enjoy and try to have happy holidays with good friends & loved ones. Peace ✌️

Yo Ave you have dope content I appriciate you share your knowledge...much love!!!I would like to know few things maybe i overslept your tutorials but i will ask anyway....when comes to sampling a drumbreak (how to loop it perfectly on a 1 pad and how to match other drumbreak to blend them in time) how you eq it and which plugings to use to get a warm thumpy dope sound....same with sample and bass....which plugins are best to get dope sound quality....Much appriciated for all the knowledge!!Blessings from Poland G!
Yeah u showed a lil age with that track bro super dope

I’m gonna be real, I’ve been pitching everything wrong. I got perfect pitch but, sometimes… I’m just tryna get stuff done. And I 💯 agree on the BPM chopping.
Good look bruh... I learned 2 things I didn't know.
that pitch shift tip had me like damn...I was today years old.
hey Ave. how do you change your sample from major to minor?
What if the popping is at the end of the sample chop
I thought I seen you use the tune before when you was sampling lol!!! Now is it the wrong way using the tune you’re saying ?
cant believe tip 16 wasnt the 16 level tip missed opportunity

That’s what I was saying after finishing the video
sample tails are the best thing the mpc ever made. facccts
Question. How do I transpose on the whole sequence or track? when i try it, it never works idk what i am doing wrong. Im talking about the transpose on the main screen.
Akai developers rejected the idea of Tuning a Sample (in Same Edit Mode) and having Key Detect being able to detect the key. However, if you Tune a sample in Program Edit Mode (Track Edit in the Force) the MPCs key detect feature will correctly detect the key.
YO! How to delete slice in the middle of sample? Im going from a trim mode and process and than function, I have there "delete" button but it`s dull and doesn`t work. I need to do something first or buy something? problem is on MPC ONE
Can you sample Vinyl records? From turntable??
Can you show the best way to take stems from another DAW and import them to MPC LIve tracks ? That way I can remix all my old Pro Tools stuff in the box.😁
Can you do a video on how to build around old soul songs that have drums already in the track? When filtering the lows I loose the nice clean sound of the song

Hell yeah
My Mpc live 2 don’t have that arrow that I can detect the key of a sample is that only for controller mode or standalone also because I don’t see it
Hey Ave do I have a full Tutorial on sampling as for ways to get different samples , setting it up , chopping set up I mean from the start to finish I kno this video was basically on tips I been had my mpc for a year and a half now and still don’t kno how to sample on it

Yo AVE… WHEN I GO INTO SAMPLE EDIT MY SAMPLES COME IN BLARING ALTHOUGH MY VOLUME IS NORMAL ON PLAYBACK. HOW CAN I ADJUST MY SAMPLE EDIT VOLUME?
Wow was about to sell mine
i have a question bro ? do you use compression on your drums all the time ?
@AveMcree
Жыл бұрын
No
So when I go to sample edit, I don’t see the arrow to see the keys
Is it okay tune down and up samples ? I've always used this method for awhile now, just curious if it's a bad thing. Even if knowing the key of the sample. I do pitch as well. But it's always certain samples that need it or don't

"I'm kind of a king at this" lol
0:51 mine doesn’t have the arrow button would anybody know why?
I was wondering do you like house music
Why is it important to know the notes? Whether it's a c minor or etc ? How would it help somebody making a beat?
How do you get to sample tail with the MPC studio or software
@AveMcree

The same way. There’s a program edit screen on the software.

16 levels for pitch….. damn, I’ve been trying for ages to chromatically play samples without affecting the playback rate! Why didn’t I think of that?!?!? (Confessions of an Octatrack user who recently bought a live ii)
