C'est la première fois que j'entends une version de cette messe capable de soutenir la comparaison avec celle de Ferenc Fricsay, avec Maria Stader, que j'ai en tête depuis une cinquantaine d'années. Précision, rythme, netteté de l'attaque, équilibre des volumes : c'est plein de vie, d'enthousiasme et d'émotion ! Du théâtre, comme toujours chez Mozart, où chacun(e) est à fond dans son rôle.

And Judit Scherrer absolutely nailed Laudamus te. She hit the high notes, she hit the low notes, with heart, passion and verve. Tempo. Nothing fake. Authentic. Brava!

Wonderful performance. Marelize Gerber (I presume) NAILED the Christe eleison. Nice balance, wonderful soprano section for Classical music, esp Mozart. Well done.

Ludwig van Beethoven - it's not as slick as other more professional, more "perfect", performances I've seen. But that imperfection gives it more grit, gravel, grip. Grace. Humanity. Sympathy. I prefer this performance. More absorbable and calming. And the setting is more cozy, warm, endearing. I love the whole thing, as if this is how it was meant to be, earth humbly beseeching heaven, rather than something otherworldly imposed down from above. The imperfections make it human, accessible, lovely.

WOW! Did you hear the soprano solo?! It's a breathtaking interpretation! The elimination of vibrato really gives the pure and divine beauty to the melodies!!! Great upload! Thank you!

A breathtaking performance. Once of the best I've heard and the quality on YT was exceptional as well. A side note... that first Soprano reminds me of American Actress Blair Brown. Uncanny resemblance! ;-D

Fantastic! This sounds much more intimate to me than other performances I've heard. Maybe because of the setting? A seemingly small church instead of a concert hall or recording studio like I'm used to must make a difference.

this is a VERY difficult piece for soprano. Better for her to sing it the way that she did rather than force the low(very low) notes. This is a good workman effort. Who is the choir and conductor. I like them very much !
