Beautiful...high E natural.

I'm sitting on the porch, and a hummingbird stopped and listened until it was done and flew off into the dusk.

I love Mozart coloratura after a seizure. It's perfect for organising the brain.

As a sophmore in highschool, I get to sing this for a competition. I am so excited!

Mein Gott, could she be more perfect? Incomparable singing.

Sublime! And so difficult, with a stratospheric tessitura ! And kudos to the Oboe Soloist!

I find that when I dont know the words, I hear the purity of the sound ; I hate subtitles or worse still the subtitles of actual words being sung - its an irritating distraction from hearing the finesse of the melodiies being sung

Kathleen Battle's high E is rather ugly. It is the only time I have heard her not sing beautifully. Sabine nails it.

I agree. I love Kathleen Battle, but her high E is pitchy. She also doesn't have much volume or support on the low C# and B; Devieilhe not only maintains her volume, she does not break the phrase between the B3 and the D6. She's magical.

Sabine has a beautiful voice and does a nice job here, but If you want to hear an artist sing this aria with impeccable bel canto technique, check out Beverly Sills’ version, which you can find on KZread.

Sills execution is amazing. Especially that famous jump of 2 octaves plus a minor third - it's perfect.
