The three boys here are left to right: Peter M, Ludwig M, and Matthias H. After this part, in the other parts with the three boys, Philipp M, replaces Peter M.

The Opéra National de Paris should be ashamed on themselves for using these ugly costumes for the 3 boys.

Stage directors of opera houses again and again endeavour (sind bestrebt) to make the "Three Boys" in Mozart´s "Zauberflöte" ridicoulos. Here we can see their underpants...:( That is not "funny" !!! I can´t understand why the boys accept that ???

@@agneserika9654 You are so right, most people don't notice, but in their first appearance the boys are in their underwear, with a stupid bow around their neck. I believe something ??? happened after their first appearance because Philipp Mosch replaced Peter Mair in subsequent appearances, and in subsequent appearances the boys were provided with pants.

@@karlbraun9564 What costumes for these opera characters (child-spirits) are You talking about ?? In addition, we should not forget that the action of this opera takes place in Ancient Egypt, where the only clothing of the boys was a loincloth (at official events).😀 These boys are lovely cherubs, who are usually portrayed naked in the traditions of European painting. And why should they be embarrassed? The bow is a symbol of the gift and help from Sarostra.
