Nice table! I agree the chandelier needs to be switched out. And yes I think a black bowl will look good on the island. Maybe some nice black throw blankets for the couch. It will come together 😊

Another good way to incorporate black is you should use black contact paper on your cabinets to give it a more “ modern” look to tone down that brown so much and get a ‘ crystal like’ chandelier that would set your kitchen off and help blend into the front room at the same time. Hopefully you see this comment ❤😊🫶🏽

Hey Dame … love the way the house is coming along .. no please don’t stop the cooking in the vlogs , you be giving me dinner ideas. Also go to Home Depot or Lowe’s they have lights that come on as soon as it gets dark, and the smart lights they have a whole section just for all different kinds of bulbs. I was hollering when Mylem was back there looking like he was killing a bug or something, with that being said Home Depot also has Long handle dusters you can use to clean the webs and dust on high ceilings and fans .. I have high ceilings at my home also .. Love yall and happy new year!!!

Try changing the light fixture to black in the kitchen and get a rug and pillows that have brown and black in them for the living area

Kitchen table looks like a living room or dining room table. Maybe a square or rectangle kitchen table. If yall want black table, get a different shape. Living room coffee tables looks great. Mylen picky and bouji. Lol

Okay since the table is part of the kitchen the black is throwing things off. I think it would look better if it was a lighter wood or a glass table. Maybe change your lighting fixtures to black to tie it in.

Hey Dame & Mylen. Love the table, I think y'all need a round rug underneath to protect your floor, maybe Amazon have the washable rug as well. I also have a question. Did that table come with a leaf so that you could expand it? It would then turn into a oval table so you could fit 6 chairs instead of 4 as a round table and fill the space a bit more. In that area where y'all have those 3 gold vases. Maybe put a tall corner black wine stand that would hold wine glasses that hang and bottles of liquor to add on the middle shelf, you can get that from Amazon. Just another suggestion, maybe y'all can get a glass top made to protect the table as well. Love y'all and the videos. 🙏🏾🥰

On the table add some round or rectangular place mats. Add wine and water glasses oh and don't forget the napkins. Tell Mylen the table is looking good thus far.

Love the table! What I ran into when we moved was my rooms were so big and everything looked small. So an interior designer said when u have big rooms u need big furniture to take up some space but not crowd it. We have tall ceiling’s like y’all and you should have seen how little our TV looked on that big wall!😂😂 Once you add the chairs then see. But like Mylen said, add a few pieces to fill out more space then see what you all think. But bomb table!

I agree with you Dame about the pop up shop vendors! When I used to sell Pink Zebra and went to vendor events, I promoted my business, went live at the event and posted pictures the entire time! I got there early to set up, do a little shopping from other vendors and stayed until the event was over…I even posted the items I purchased from other vendors online and tagged them but you have to promote yourself bc at the end of the day it’s YOUR business…yes, the organization/person hosting the vendor event usually Posts and invites folks out but you have to do your part too bc your people Can come support and see what else Is there…

Just a suggestion if u like the black table i would paint the cabinets white then and change the wood floor to a darker color it would flow together and then incorporate black and gold thru the kitchen and living room too
