I grew up in Wausau, I lived there from age 6 to 19. I've been in the Madison area since then. I graduated from Wausau High School; only one high school (public) at the time so that should tell you about how old I am! I'm glad this showed up in my feed, it brought back a lot of good memories!

Wausau is super chill. I’m a teenager and personally I think Wausau has some of the greatest schools, and some of the best people I’ve met 👍

My fiancé and I are thinking of moving here! He grew up in Milwaukee but we want a smaller town that feels more tucked away from cities. We’re currently in eastern half of SD but want more variety of things to do and more trees lol

Hoping to move there this year on wisconsin I will relate to all of you for i to grew up in the ice belt of South Dakota

My first time visiting Wausau was back in 92. My uncle was one of the very, very, very small few of black folk there. 😂 I had no problems tho, nobody bothered me and I wasn't harassed by cops. Last time I was there, was in 2011. Had a lot of fun there.

Such a Beautiful town. The people are so polite. I live in California but would move in a heart beat. Going back in May for a nephew's graduation. Any reason or excuse to go there! 🥳

Housing costs coupled with a staggering increase in drugs and the crime rate has taken this town from a great place to live 10 years ago to a very expensive and dangerous place to live if you can't afford a good neighborhood.

Thanks for the video. My wife is going to be working at the hospital for a few months. Can you get us a month to month or weekly rental?

That’s a tougher one because traveling nursing is very popular in our area. For weekly/monthly rates, give the Rib Mountain Inn a try. For a 3-6 month lease, look up SC Swiderski. Thanks!
