Hi Alyona! You deserve a hommage for your good Swedish after such a short time here. I know Swedish isn't an easy language.

That was a very well made video! Interesting. It could be the first of a whole series, them sharing their experience on different topics.

The blond woman from Ukraine has a strong accent but her vocabulary and grammar is AMAZING, better than of many Swedes

She's not the only one, I know an Ukrainian that has been here for three months and she speaks fairly good Swedish and is doing everything she can to improve it through conversations. Her English is perfect but she refuses to speak it. She's here to stay and know that language is important. I mean, we all speak English but we ALL appreciate when immigrants learn the language because it shows engagement to the people and the nation they are in.

@@JaneG Yes, she's 24 and her father stayed behind. I know he's fighting for her right now and in a way it pains me because I know what that means. Long time ago I was in Bosnia and then Kosovo. Same tactics. The rape camps set up in hospitals, the abduction of the children and executions of the men. My heart breaks for the suffering of the Ukrainian people. If I had a say we would already be there, doing what we once did, blow a path for others to follow and then when they surrender against a force insurmountable to their defence and faced with losing their nation for their war crimes we set up a UN force to safeguard the people like we did (and still do) in Bosnia and Kosovo. Slava Ukraini, the bravery is incredible and hope persists.

The work-life balance is basically... I'm off work at the hour I'm off and if you want me to work overtime I can say now but I can also say yes but you'll have to pay me 212% of my salary for my time. We mainly view work as a necessary evil that we could excel at and perhaps even like but we refuse to. Our time is our time, we don't get it back so don't try to fuck around with it, it's ours to do with as we wish.

I so 100% agree with this attitute when it comes to work-life balance and your time. And yes, our time is our time, and we do not get it back..
