Und was die Freundlichkeit angeht, kann ich in UK auch Wales sehr empfehlen. Ich habe 10 Jahre dort gelebt und empfand die Waliser immer als sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit

Ich wünschte es wäre leichter einzuwandern... Ich würde so gerne in Schottland leben
In puncto Freundlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft, sind die Schotten nur schwer zu schlagen...

Stimmt!
Ich finde es traurig das Schottland immer auf Glasgow (630,000 Einw. - Großraum 1,800,000 Einw.), Edinburgh (510,000 Einw.) sowie die Westküste und die Inseln reduziert wird. Im Rest von Schottland, gerade im Norden und sogar im Osten (Aberdeen) gibt es sehr schöne Ecken und Plätze. Einer der Gründe warum ich ausgewandert bin waren die kleinen Orte (lebe in einem Fischerdorf - 1,200 Einw.) und nicht die Ballungsgebiete, da hätte ich auch in Deutschland bleiben können… Zum Schulsystem… das ein deutscher ein internationales System mit Deutschland vergleicht hinkt schon und trotzdem er es so schlecht redet, was ich nicht bestätigen kann, schneidet die U.K. (intern Schottland vor England) besser ab als Deutschland und das schon in den letzten 10 Jahren. Ich persönlich finde das einheitliche System mit Schul-Uniformen persönlich besser. Und wenn die Privatschulen so „umstritten“ sind, warum haben wir dann rund 270 deutsche Kinder in diesen Privatschulen wie Gordonstoun (wo auch Prince Philip und König Charkes III war und andere Bekanntheiten).

Von wann ist das Video? Der Brexit hat doch schon lange stattgefunden …
Fun Fact: Die Schotten haben ihre eigenen Banknoten, die allerdings auch "Pound" heißen und 1:1 zu den üblichen GBP-Noten kompatibel sind und genauso verwendet werden können. Manchmal tauchen die auch in London auf.

So ist das, ja! Wenn du dann in London in einem kleinen Corner Shop damit bezahlen willst, kann es schon vorkommen, dass sie das Schottengeld nicht annehmen wollen :)
Also ich lebe seit mehr als 6 Jahren in Schottland und muss sagen, nicht alles was hier geschildert wird ist nicht ganz korrekt. Zum anderen, kommt es ganz darauf an wo man in Schottland ist was Gastfreundlichkeit angeht. Die Schotten können auch sehr rassistisch sein. Im allgemeinen muss ich allerdings eingestehen sind die Schotten sehr freundlich zu Touristen und Besuchern, zu Einwanderern sieht es in einigen Gebieten ein wenig anders aus.
