It's my home!! We love it here, moved from East Orlando 12 years ago. So much has changed just in that short time. I think the growth should slow down but I do want the food hall! Also graduated from UCF so GO KNIGHTS!!

I love oviedo FL

I love oviedo. But i think when i finally save enough and can afford a house its gonna be too crowded.

How are the schools in the area? What builders are there now?

This 30 year resident says please don't come! UCF students have just about overrun the tiny city. Traffic is horrible and what took 10 minutes 5 years ago now take double or sometimes triple time depending on time of day & road picked. Great K-12 "A" rated schools and the growth with that has brought families in droves. Wildlife have been pushed into the neighborhoods because man won't quit taking away their homes. Please don't come!

Still prefer Hallandale beach Florida beautiful beaches and restaurants growing businesses and communities.

Ooow nice area and a great alternative if your happy with 40mins from Disney, let’s encourage a move out of Disney area to everyone so that means more opportunities for us brits when we come out 😂 I’m joking guys but does seem like a lovely area and having food markets and events is a big draw! Thx for sharing

Is getting very stressful for me looking for a place in Orlando FL. We have the money for a down payment for a home but still will need to look for a job. I'm not educated, i can work cnc machines or warehouse jobs or can even start construction work. Hard for me to choice the right area. Maybe Conway or azalea park. I'm Latino residing in SFV LA county commifornia i mean California.

I've lived in Oviedo for 5 years I like it

One of the greatest videos and interviewing residents is a nice touch. I’m moving from CA to Oviedo. I’m not taking any liberal attitude with me. Go De Santis!

Oviedo isn't a nice place to move. It's overbuilt by "Affordable Housing", better known as low rent apartments. Neighborhoods are no long safe, with thugs wandering the streets all hours of the night. Streets haven't been widened and what used to take 5 minutes to drive to can take as long as 45 minutes. "Developers" are making intersections into right turn only along major roads so all the apartments can be built. Wetlands have been illegaly filled in and places that had half acre lots are getting 4 houses to an acre built across the street from them. It would be far better to find out where Mr Pozek lives and move to his neoghborhood. Hopefully they can get a couple dozen apartmnt ccomplexes built quickly. Oviedo ripped out 100% of the Historical Downtown area, built over the cowfields south of them and now call that "Downtown". Even the famous Chickens have disappeared from their former haunts. Move ANYWHERE except Oviedo!

Oviedo is a horrible city I don’t suggest anybody move there. Lol I’ve been in Oviedo for 35 years and boy has in grown .They need to stop building all the cookie cutter home developments and apartments. Traffic is getting pretty bad in that center hub of Oviedo.

No, you mispronounce it🙄,it's; O vee A doh, but prefer the original Oviedo from Spain.
