Grew up there on Mississippi Ave in the 80s and 90s. Great community vibe. Life was a bit slower feeling compared to the northeast. It was a great place for a kid. Schools were great back then. A lot of my teachers are running things now. Shout out to Mr Pope! Yes, it is really hot in the summer. Like step out your shaded door and need a shower after 5 mins hot. There are so many springs and caverns outside of town to check out. Lots of parks, a good library and at the time police and fire were heavily involved with the community. I wish I could raise my boys there. So many outdoor places I want to show them that you can't find here in New England.
My parents just bought a vacation house in Mowat highlands. Is there a video on the best neighborhoods in Lynn haven like you said in the video?
