What a wonderful video 😌. Out of interest how much was the deposit for your apartment?

is a totebag actually safe for all those important things you have in there? whenever i travel by plane to somewhere and i need to bring important stuff with my like my laptop i ALWAYS pack it in my backpack since not only is it safer, it is also more comfortable to cary around instead of killing your whole shoulder with a heavy suitcase and a totebag, but whatever works best for others ig?

Hi! When I signed my lease they did check my visa so I think you do need one 🥲 but for places such as Airbnb you don’t need it!

We will have one just not right away. Do you happen to know of the Airbnb site is the best for finding a place? I have heard you need a hotel booked rather than an Airbnb to get through customs…do you know if this is true? Thank you so much!! I am nervous but excited to go but don’t want to mess anything up.

For a short term stay I would say airbnb is pretty good but for a longer time it's definitely overpriced! And for customs I've never needed to show a hotel booking confirmation

I booked a hotel for the first two weeks and during that time I went to a realtor who showed me several places!

May I ask how the visa and housing process is?

The visa process really depends on your nationality but if you fulfill the requirements for your aspired visa you only have to submit the required documents to the Korean consulate in your country and apply there. For housing, I’ve had the best experiences contacting local real estate agents who can show you houses in the area you’d like to live in.

You can but there's going to be extra charges,might as well use Wise or other type of international payment system.
