Thank you for making such a comprehensive video. It must have taken a lot of time to gather information. Since, long i have been looking for such a video bec no one really makes videos for teachers and especially demand of school teachers. You have done a great job. Coming to the point i have a few questions if you could help me with. So i have a Bachelors degree in English, have done B.Ed. & currently have 2 yrs of teaching experience in Primary. I am exploring some options to relocate to Canada. But my scores are not meeting the expectations. As I am working I can not do a regular course & planning to do a distance Masters course i have 2 things in mind. ▪ Will it be a good idea to do masters from distance education either from my home country India/ Canada? ▪ Will doing a masters course boost me CRS scores and by how much points and if i do it as a regular course then I'll get a push of how many points? ▪ How much an Elementary teacher earns in Canada? Teacher as a profession in Canada is regulated so you will need to obtain a provincial teaching license after you have received your PR. That means you'll still need to study inland.

Sir can you tell me one this, as per my knowledge that for your PR to be approved for life time ...the holder has to stay in CA for 3 year...what if the person has to come to his home for emergency...will the PR process get cancelled and hv to reapply it... Have a good day to u too

3 years doesn't have to be in one go. In the 5 years your PR will be valid, you'll be eligible for citizenship if you stay in Canada for at least 3 years, not necessarily at one time; it can be spread out over a period of 5 years. You can visit your home country as many times as you wish.

I am not very clear about the steps outlined. First I need to get a PR, and then come to Canada and get a 2-semester teaching course and pay for it. So, that means I will have to live in Canada, pay for my tuition, housing, and food (which is expensive), and only after 1 year I can get a teaching certification and get a job?

WES & OCT are DIFFERENT certifications. WES evaluates your previous education whereas OCT certifies your teaching ability according to Ontario standards.

In my understanding, you need to be a Resident in order to get registered with Ontario College of Teachers, however, Nova Scotia teaching registration body can issue you a practicing certificate on Work Visa status too. The question is when you apply to public schools in Canada for teaching jobs you need to be a Resident or Work Visa will do??

Hi there, Dream Canada. Thank you so much for your videos! They have been incredibly helpful. I'm a teacher and my husband is a teacher and is completing his Masters in school counselling- both fields of work seem to require a teaching licence in order to be employed in Education in Canada. We have 2 children so we do need job security before applying and immigrating to Canada. The teaching licence seems to take a minimum of 6 months to complete in Canada. So my question is, is there any way of making enough income to support a family while completing the teaching licence? Any advice or recommended links will be greatly appreciated. Scary to move an entire family without a job offer. Kind regards

You'll have the freedom to study in any Atlantic province after you get your PR. Alternatively, you can just apply for a student permit directly and then your PR later.

Bro as u replied me in your last video that if I get PR of any province I have to live there for 2 years. What if I want to study just after that PR and for example I got the PR of Manitoba but I get admitted in university which is in other province. So I'm I able to study at other province or not? And if after PR I want to start my business in other provinces also I'm I able to do or not?

During your PNP process, you'll be made to sign an undertaking which will clearly explain the terms of your PNP nomination. These terms differ based on each province, and for each individual as well. Studying in another province is usually allowed if you can provide sufficient proof that you have enough ties to move back to the province which nominates you. I would not recommend this though, there are plenty of good Universities in Manitoba which you can get enrolled in.

I don't have B. Ed. Is B. Ed compulsory? I have MA (English) M.Phil and PhD in English with teaching experience of 14 years at tertiary level.

How can I could get a teacher job after doing these courses if they wouldn't accept to employ someone with a work or student permit? Is there an exception for PGWP?
