Ah another one of those famous OLF cliffhangers. You have a lot of confidence inflating tires with starting fluid in a shed with hay in it. Another good video, just with we could have seen when that tire beaded up on the rim. Sounds like it was pretty neat to see.

That's a great idea to start a fire near hay, I learned the hard way, I burned down a $40,000 hay barn by doing something similar

Great video Wes. We have an old ford f8000 grain truck with a cat 3208 and it sat for a year. We go to move it out of the shed this summer and it turned out it had bad injectors. We were told that injectors for those engines were hard to find. It ended up costing us 1250$ to get the injectors rebuilt.

those little 3208s are pretty popular here in the southwest and across the border in mexico. Miles better than the C7 and they truly purr like a cat. Great engine for a pickup too. I love the 5020 and they're damn good workhorses!

Loving the 5020 wes. We had to split our 3010 (smaller with a 4 banger in it) to replace the 540/1000 pto pin which is about 3/16s thick because the stub shaft backed off while cutting hay and my dad put it back on without resetting the pin and broke it (common problem on the 10 series) and cant wait to see the tr70 spring to life why dont you and time use both at the same time get done so much quicker.

When I was taught to use starting either to seat a tire bead was told to never do it without removing the core from the tire stem then when you light the either the open inflater acts as a pressure relief port preventing the tire from exploding 99% of the time after its seated apply the airline to

with all the tires you have and getting flats out in the field have you ever considered getting a gas powered air compressor? I got 2 got a big one like the tire trucks run and a smaller one like an emglo with a 5 hp Honda engine and they come in handy. Oh and can you do a video on your home made air tanks you got

I always just figured you kept the TR70 around for a backup in case something happened to the TR96 that left you without a combine when you needed one. Looking to buy a new TR combine soon and have the 96 as a backup?

Been watching all your old videos lately from beginning to end cause its good entertainment, and their educational. I've noticed that you have change and fixed plenty of tires over the years. Don't know how much they cost but it seems like you do it enough to own a tire changing station. After all time is money - Right Tim? :) Seems like having one would be worth it. Have you ever considered buying one? Maybe you just enjoy lighting them on fire so much that you don't want one? Just wondering.

Old 3208s don't like starting that easy especially when they lose their prime the 12 volt plunger on the injection pump likes to stick in the closed position so you don't get any fuel to the IP. When you do get them started they start to smoke like a bitch that whole barn would be full of blue smoke lol.
