yes! i was really surprised too! everything is pretty much the same only difference i'd say is that most are wearing masks and people are practicing social distancing which is great!😁

So happy to see many peoples going to Taiwan 🇹🇼 it’s lovely country ! peoples are so kind and respectful it’s remembered me a mix of japan and Korea🥰 really I like it I really miss nightmarkets too yummy food ,Amazing bubble tea ,cheap shopping skin care ! Hi Adrienne!!! So excited for you to come back. I have a home in Taipei so I stayed there for my quarantine. But if you google ‘Taipei Quarantine Hotel’ you will find an entire list of places you can stay at. See you on the flip side!

I love my home country more than anything, how I envy you 😍 I gotta look up a place to get tested for 30 minutes here in Vancouver, that is insane! Considering some places expect you to wait a week or two, whaaaat??? very cool to stop in NY city before flying off. 😀

Andy Taiwan #1! Ya the whole process of coming over here was very tedious and not going to lie stressful. I was lucky enough to find a place that did rapid testing near my area. But if you hold a Taiwanese passport, you are not required to present a Covid Test. NYC in the summer is definitely worth a visit. If you’re considering coming to Taiwan, let me know if you have any questions! Happy to help😊

@@tammyyin The Taiwanese passport sure is handy for sure! Makes things easier, I am here in Canada and been in Taipei twice but with the way things are now, It's getting difficult. Ugh! How are you liking it being in Taipei compared to the states? Wish I could speak and write Mandadrin as well or I would move there too lol! My entire family is there. 😅

Andy traveling during a pandemic can be risking but Eva air has really taken all the necessary precautions and more. I’m currently doing my mandatory quarantine but once that’s over I’m super excited to be roaming around again. Not knowing mandarin might be a barrier outside of Taipei but within it I’d say you would be able to get by and pick up the language slowly. 😊

@@tammyyin I love EVA airways, they never dissapoint with their excellent service and smooth flights. How is it so far being in quarantine? I wouldn't know what to do for 14 days lol! I hope the days will go by quickly for you so you can explore beautiful Taiwan. 😊 Oh btw I hope that aside of the rice burrito they can provide you with some delicious oyster noodles, how I miss it. Ximending has the best one. Ah Chung flour noodles! 🥰

Andy first time flying with them and the experience was impeccable and one of the most comfortable flights I’ve been on (did help that I had the whole row to myself). Only on day 2 but school has been keeping me busy and lots of KZread! Can’t wait to explore this lil island again and eat all the food!!!! I havent tried ah Chung noodles yet but it’ll be one of the few dishes I’ll be eating once 14 days passes!😆😆😆

Hi Eva!! Since you’re BF is American. The only way for him to enter Taiwan is either he has a family member that has a permanent resident, a job, or is a student. Hope this helps!!

I stayed at my own flat here in Taipei! You will need to stay at a quarantine hotel if you don’t have a flat here. Stay safe and safe travels!

This you would have to check country to country but before covid you are able to freely travel to Taiwan unless the passport you hold does not allow it. But for now due to COVID, no one but business personals or taiwanese passport holders are allowed in. Hope this helps!

if you do not have a home in taiwan, then you are required to pay for one of the hotels the government has listed!
