Faith Kifle this is pretty much how most unis r in the UK! My brother (we live in scotland) has his own bathroom and only has to share the common room and communal kitchen with three others

This is pretty standard for the uk ngl. This one is a studio so she gets the extra kitchen space but the rest with prettt much always have an en suite and lots of space. A couple years ago all the unis refurbished their accommodation .

all of the rooms in uk are one person it’s super rare that you have to share but there may be an option too to save money at some unis

omg thats probably the most expensive and thickest mattress i've ever seen in uni accom! so lucky! Good luck with everything at uni, if you need any tips getting a first u can always message me i finished with a first and happy to help people :) xo

Omg I really want to go to Newcastle uni cause I’m from Newcastle but I’ve never lived there cause I’m a third culture child and i was born in Kuwait, moved to shanghai when I was 8 months, moved to Abu Dhabi when I was 6 and then back to shanghai when I was 10 and I’ve lived in shanghai ever since !! I always wanted to go to Newcastle cause it’s like getting back what I never had and it’s such a gorgeous city and amazing uni, hope you’re enjoying it💖

myBillybao Her family is from Newcastle. Can she not claim her heritage? She’s not of Kuwait nationality or any other nationality. She’s a British National. Specifically, from Newcastle. Wherever your parents are from then you are also from. Where else would she say she’s from? It’s like me claiming to be from Canada cause i was born there but my family are African? If a Canadian asked me where I’m from, I am saying the country/city that my parents are from In Africa and not the city in Canada that I was born in . Clearly you’re lacking education sis x

I was born in Bahrain but I say I am from Exmouth/Exeter in England bc that’s where my parents both were born and grew up, I consider there home also bc my family lives there, grandparents cousins etc.

My bed came with the room but has underbed storing, I didn’t actually build the bed it’s self but I had to kind of deconstruct it to get to the storage bit ☺️ but yes I built the table ♥️♥️

You are so lucky to have your own bathroom, PLUS kitchen!! And your own TV! I was at 2 universities and in digs and had to share! Your parents must have spent a fortune - bed linen, cook ware etc!

I was extremely lucky to have family members help with hand me downs for things like toasters and plates etc.. all of the uni shopping wasn’t tooooo expensive luckily I got a lot of good deals x

your so lucky to have your own kitchen I move in to Walsall on Sunday and I have to share a kitchen but I get my own bathroom

I’m going into my 2nd year at Northumbria and you will absolutely love it! Best decision I made was choosing to come here x

That is a really nice college dorm compared to many others and is sooooo spacious! My sisters is way smaller 😂

So, how has ur experience been like living in a Studio for first year of uni? Many people say that living in halls with shared spaces such as shared kitchen is better cause you would be able to meet more people that way... I personally like my own space, but I don't want to be excluding myself from the social aspects especially first year of uni, however many people also say that it becomes very boring later on in the year when you are just by yourself, if you live in a studio? Anyone got any advice?
