the new bathroom storage looks SO GOOD!! it fits the place so well and is so functional!

Congrats on the new place!! 🎉 I also live in a tiny studio and totally understand that it’s like a jigsaw figuring out what goes where. If you ARE looking for tips, this is what I ended up doing (my layout is similar to yours, at least the bed/couch side). I put my bed next to the closet (so where your couch is, same orientation, with space to walk between bed and closet). Then, I put the couch against my bed, along the bed’s side edge (so for you, couch facing the laundry room). I then put my tv on that opposite wall (laundry room wall). I also added a sheer curtain between the bed and couch (hung by a rod I drilled in) to really create a division and now my couch area feels like a mini living room! And where your current extra fridges are could be your “office” :)

funny story... My dad thought it was a great idea to use a single tension rod storage shelf for more storage in the shower and it work so great for awhile! Until one day, I was in the shower and it came down and knocked me out because it cracked my head open. I think it's rare and just my luck, but you just unlocked the memory of this lol

Wow! This is such a nice studio in LA! Great job on picking it. I also, think you did a great job on the placement of things given the real estate given. I hope you can figure out a way to arrange the tv it looks inconvenient for you but I'm confident once you've had a couple weeks to live in it you'll figure it out!

Hi! I have a small place to and one of the things i did to have more counter space was get an over the sink dish rack! Mine even had a thing to hold paper towels :) I got it on Amazon!

i just moved into a studio too and also have no kitchen storage here...i ended up getting a small silver shelf pantry thing from target for about $30, would recommend! great for dry storage and a good size for one person

omg love this space!!! Maybe you could move the bed in the opposite direction (with the head of the bed on the same wall as the laundry room), mount the tv on that alternate wall, and move the couch back to face the tv (facing away from the kitcen)? then a rug in front of the couch to create its own space, and you can still see the TV from your bed. just an idea!!

I thought about that, but the couch ends up being too close to the kitchen island and blocks off one side of the closet :'(

I found it in that cheap section you first see when you walk into Target! I got it a few months ago though, so I don't think they sell it anymore :(

Studios out here range from $1650-2200 depending on the square footage and if you’re moving into a luxury building. My budget is $2100 and I still can’t find a decent studio at that price unless you’re okay with a tiny space like 450sq ft which is very tiny. Sometimes You get lucky and find deals. My first studio apartment was about 5 years ago and I found it in Koreatown at the time it was $1250 a month all utilities included which was AMAZING! And about 650 sq ft. But it wasn’t a very updated unit so I moved. Now I’m in a 1 bedroom but I like the feel of studios. However because the pandemic is over, prices have skyrocket!
