Even our Alabama cousins, who came at once when our grand aunt Roberta passed, said it was "dreary", but of course aunt Roberta made everything seem like that, even when she was alive..

This video comparing Toronto to Calgary is much more balanced compared to your other one. This one is much better.

However the one point I would add is GTA is not as liberal as some people think. If you look at the polls when Olivia Chow won as mayor it was only because all the other three conservative candidates were not unified and were split. If you combined the vote on the center right it was much higher then Olivia’s.

Most ppl around me aren’t liberals. GTA isn’t all liberals

"I've heard stories of people cashing out in Toronto and buying 2-3 homes in Calgary" They really said 'Let's make Calgary less affordable!' If you move to Calgary and do this kind of thing, you are contributing to homelessness in the city :) enjoy!

I was visiting family that lives in Mississauga. A bit of a trek from Toronto but it seems like a nice normal city.

@@ryangillardrealtor Sorry had to resend as it seems KZread didn’t allow me to place in a link to another video to you. Yes Mississauga is nice! It’s the same distance as Legacy is from downtown Calgary (approx 27 to 30 km). So you are correct sir, Calgary is very spread out and has a large land area well beyond that of Toronto its self. Mississauga is a suburb, similar to Legacy or Auburn bay etc, but they are starting to overdevelop it now with some high rises along Eglinton (an arterial road in Mississauga and beyond, that kinda looks and feels like our 52 street, particularly when you pass the newer areas like McKenzie town) But the best Suburb is the one next over to Mississauga, which is Oakville and they have more strict rules against building high rises. So Oakville continues to almost perfectly resemble our Mahogany, Legacy, Aspen woods ect, it’s a very nice suburb with several upscale neighborhoods with nice trees and beautiful houses.
