Your Dad's song choices are becoming legendary. The Casbah is a famous bahaar in Morroco. In the 60's or 70's they had a huge infamous rock festival there that freaked out the CONservative government. Never happened again. It's what that song was about. Being medically retired I get exausted just watching you guys sometimes. Anyone who thinks farming almost 365 is easy is absolutely clueless.

I figured we was 'bout to witness a purlet inspired stampede, but Brain and Cole, bein' the experienced kettlepokes they are...made it look like child's play...and lmao at the two of them drivin' round frozen SoDak ranch land discussin' rockin' the casbah...I figured the end spot would a been them dressed up in togas with them checkered scarves secured 'round their heads with barbwire stays and them dancin' round in boots kickin' up in a dance fashion, with Ellie trailin' and barkin'?👳‍♂️👳🐕👀

IDEA Rig up a water level valve in the tote so you can fill it without having to watch it. put a quick connect hose fitting to make it even faster.

Your fellows are such fun. I love watching your comradery. To “Rock the Casbah” now means to DO something that YOU think is right because it is RIGHT even if some AUTHORITY has BANNED it. The genesis of Rock the Casbah came from drummer Topper Headon* (who had joined the Clash after their first album).

Great video!! My Dad mounted an old siren on his feed truck and used it when he fed the cattle. When he wanted to collect the 100 cows we had, he would use the siren. they would come running expecting to be fed!!

people ask us sometimes to wash our windows or clean out our trailer. Quite honestly we are swamped and dont have much free time, I had a banker once tell me that some operations this size would have a couple hired men. But we do the best we can ourselves.

really great video guys. Cole, we use too always put some plastic mick jugs in our pool during the winter to keep it from freezing over. That might help with your water tanks for the cows from freezing. thank you guys 😀

Dang it looks cold

My dad always picked the corn and put it in the corn crib. He had it ground in with the cow feed for our dairy cows. Sometimes he fed the pieces of the ear, I would take the hatchet and cut the ears into slices and then the cows all got a few pieces after milking, it was like a treat cob and all.

The clash wrote the song as I recall in protest of music being censored in Iran. The word itself is associated with a fortress but I'm pretty sure they were protesting censorship. Funny how what we used to protest is now practiced by our government isn't it

Comes from the Clash song of the same name, which was about playing rock music even though it was banned by the Ayatollah Also, this was the first rock song played in Iran in ten years after the Shah was removed from his throne. It was played by on the American Army radio and became an anthem for the army during the first Gulf War. And now you know how to Rock the Casbah or in your case, Mt Vernon, SD.
