This is my favourite Woody Allen film, so many great lines at his own expense. God I loved Moviedrome.

Moviedrome was the best ever introduction to real cinema and twenty years after its end it remains unique. There's been nothing remotely like it or as good since. Alex, we miss you.

I just watched this film for the first time since it was shown on Moviedrome all those years ago. love the film, love Moviedrome! Surprised Cox didn't mention the influence of Ingmar Bergman in his comments. I thought it must be 20 years since this aired, thanks to Cherie for the exact date making it nearly 25 years.

At least the first Moviedrome had a sense of irony and fun. Mark Cousins was way too pretentious.
