Movie Review of Showdown In Little Tokyo (1991)
(This a criminally underrated martial arts/ gangster film in early 90s)
This film follows Yakuza taking over Little Tokyo and their targeted by Sargent Chris Kenner (Dolph Lundgren from Rocky 4 & The Punisher) who wants to bring justice to stop their illegal activity and he recruited with a new cop partner name Detective Johnny Murata (Brandon Lee from The Crow & Rapid Fire), they both are on the case and the Yakuza crime boss Mr. Yoshida (Cary Tagawa from Mortal Kombat & American Me) and his righthand man Sato (Toshiro Obata from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 90s live action films) make their mark by murdering people that betrayed them in lethal ways and Kenner is getting this closed to stop Yoshida and saves one of his victims Minako (Tia Carrere from Wayne's World & True Lies) to be witness to Yoshida horrible crimes, it also turns out Yoshida killed Kenner Parents when he was at a young age and want Yoshida to be put down for good with his samurai warrior fighting spirit in this fast paced and adrenaline rush martial art film by Mark L. Lester (from Firestarter & Class of 1984).

I agree Johnny this movie is straight forward fast paced and lots of badass fighting throughout, R.I.P Brandon Lee he was great in this movie I think this was his last movie to filmed a whole film starring him but it sad what happened to him, Him and Dolph Lundgren play great as buddy cops that kickass and take no names and the movie also a great score too, thanks for watching Johnny and this films still better than that "piece of Sh!t" Roadhouse remake.
