Fine atmospheric movie. I guessed who with the heart on the back of the pew. But, it was still worth the watching to see how things worked out. I guess that the deputy became the next Sheriff.

A deep and touching story, well told and realistically acted. The music score and location is the icing on top of the cake. Highly recomended.

Took a while to get going but decent acting with a suspenseful ending.

What a great movie, a little slow in the beginning but a top notch story.

Some movies are worth the watch, I don't know if the story line was based on any truth , but honestly there is a strong sense of reality in this movie so watch and enjoy.

Extraordinary movie. I didn't know any of the actors but they were all exceptional. Slightly vague ending but a riveting plot and well worth a watch.

Yes, great movie. I agree with the others. Slow beginning, requiring a bit of thinking to work out what was going on. Then great story. Only problem were the loose ends at the finish. What happened to the Sherriff? Was he related to the Pastor? Did anyone else know what had happened? etc. But 8.5/10 for me. Many thanks to Movie Chamber for posting. Cheers.

The sheriff was the pastor's brother, it's in the dialogue. Although it's not stated, you are led to draw the conclusion that the sheriff was fired / prosecuted for covering up a murder, hence why Caroline became the new sheriff.

film title - Beyond the Night - 2018 Interesting plot and how it develops.

Around the 24 minute mark the young boy said something that upset the woman named Norma. I couldn't make out what the kid said. A little later I learned what he had said but at the time I didn't understand why it upset the woman so much.

Consider this not my kind of movie ! But This Is A Must See Drama, Action and twist upon twist Awesome Movie !!!! I would Never guess it a slow start then BOOM !!! Wow Thank You for Sharing 😃😃🇺🇲

Loved this movie. Incredible resolution. A marine’s wife had to die in a tragic accident so a gangsters missing daughter’s fate could be discovered. Brilliant.

excellent movie - if you are one with your soul and understand what the collective soul is - you will understand this movie and enjoy it - if your more into life, with your smart phone and being part of a social circle of like-minded normies - this movie is not for you - it will just be nonsense to you filled with spiritual gibberish - go find a soap opera movie on the lifetime variety. Or check your smart phone for important stuff - smiles.

PTSD, reincarnation. Small village buried tensions and secrets, cover-ups.

It starts very slow and very boring but the comments say it improves so I will give it a little longer…

Who was the Marine movie advisor? What a freaking disaster. The Dress Blue uniform he wore at the funeral was not correct, no collar emblems, no ribbons or badges, his cover was a disgrace. The movie, well I'm 21 minutes into and bored.

and it just ended with all these unaswered questions, D@m# !

Not movie suggested . Characters could have been introduced sooner, ( July ) who? What was happening? What did happen? Where did this movie start. So little information.
