My brother recently passed away and he always used to listen to daylily song. His family is saying that he had a sezuire and crashed into a pole but I somtimes wonder if he committed suicide. That one week I was gone he must've felt alone. The day I came back home my mothers birthday was an unfortunate day because of the news. Everything in life flipped.

@@yungsnoop5317 I'm so sorry, losing a loved one like that leaves some questions that are impossible to answer. My best friend committed suicide just over 2 years ago and I always ask myself what I could've changed to prevent it but I try to focus more on the time I got to share with him instead, I know how alone people can feel but also know that you being gone a week did not make him make that decision. And I'm positive that your brother felt lucky to have a brother like you who clearly cared so much about him. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you, your family, and the rest of your brothers loved ones can find some peace in the future

Idk why people are saying this doesn't sound like movements at all, well musically it does sound different, but it makes me feel something and that itself is what Movements is. They make you feel something. And this song helps me to get through every passing day since it's out, so big thanks to everyone who made this. Really excited for the album.

Movements is one of the greatest bands ever. There music is a whole vibe and hella great lyrics.

Also while I can complete relate to everyone saying this isn't movements sounds and what not, I think that's the entire point. I mean they have a full length LP and an EP you can listen to it you want that sound. What's the point of releasing a second full length album if youre not going to evolve? You can't satisfy everyone I guess but I'm stoked with the progression they've made

Fell in love with it as soon as I heard the 1st 2 seconds. Cried. Typical. I love movements and I love the exploration of their sound over time. I've listened to this song every day for weeks, just clinging to the lyrics.

There are just certain lines in this song that, when I hear them, I can't help but start to tear up. This song as beautiful as it is sad and I absolutely love that these guys are able to pull that off well.

Well thankfully, all of the lyrics from this record were written before Covid so i havent really had an issue since shutdown. But If youre struggling i would try getting out into nature by yourself and clearing your mind for a day. That always helps me!

I think it's safe to say this song was/is the most different thing we've tried so far as a band. Many people will think it's too different and that's okay. Being in a band means progressing in our sound, and we liked that the first look of this album was something different and kinda weird.

i guess the ghost it's kinda those things.. that following up everyone from their childhood. mystery of unknown, interest of learning new things, fresh breath of every new day, sincerity, belief and the joy to go on. like a waiting for the Santa, unicorns and monsters under bed. i guess, ghost is also the power letting you to feel the soft shimmering of morning rays on your eyelids, an inspiration to wake up and making your dreams coming true

Ok i really like movements and the song... but i feel like this whole song is a buildup with no payoff. Idk i just really would have loved a classic movements style chorus with spencer hitting more cymbals and stuff (although the drum grooves already in the song r my favorite part of the song.)Idk im not completely satisfied, but i like the new sounds they are experimenting with. Im surprised they released this as the first single, it sounds almost like an interlude song

i agree, really good but not alot of dynamics, alot of the time on second LPs bands will have more dynamics between songs , then inside of actual strong structures, hoping thats what this is like, also hoping they dont put out too many singles or put out the best songs as singles, but they haven't done that in the past so im not worried.

This song gives me blue balls man. The chorus, everytime, sounds like it's going to explode but just goes back to being softer. It leaves me feeling like the song never meets it's climax. Not bad by means but I wish for at least a little bit of aggression or something.

LikelyLyrical just a bit too poppy for a band that usually jiggles my demons

I love how Movements put words to my thoughts and help me ease whatever I am going through.

Movements really keeps my heart pumping tbh. Times like this, hurricane Ida just tore my town in half. Everyone i know is homeless or in bad condition... yet in this moment.. everything is fine.

I’m so in love with this video, I love the art style and it really really matches the song really well, can’t wait for the rest of the album ❤️
