We just moved to Edmonton a few months ago from Ontario. I don’t think we could ever go back to Ontario. I feel the quality of life is much better here. I like your videos because they helped us come to Edmonton.

Great video , but I personally feel the winter in Edmonton is very harsh compare to Ontario. We moved to Edmonton last year but within 6 months moved back to Ontario. It’s not only about harsh winters but they don’t clean the roads in the winters for couple of weeks which makes it even more challenging . It gets very depressing for the kids as well as they can’t play outside in the snow either due to very cold weather . People honestly I felt as way more friendly in Ontario compared to Edmonton . Here every neighbours knows each other talk on daily basis over there people just drive into their garages and you hardly get to meet the people. We lived in south west area of Edmonton. Overall it’s much cleaner, air is very fresh, malls are newer but it’s not for everyone. Another thing is kids prescriptions meds are covered in Ont but not in Alberta, school buses are covered in Ontario not in Alberta, school supplies are provided by the schools in Ontario but parents have to buy them in Alberta. Give or take it rounds up to be the same. There are better and luxurious homes in Alberta but the winters are very long. Taxes are less but some of the groceries are more expensive. Pizzas are very expensive. I won’t say it’s not a good place but me and my children couldn’t settle there and had to move back.
