Its crazy with phil, you can see how impactful he is to Kobe, Kyrie & even guys-like reaves now. Phil 100% probably had the biggest unspoken impact on the game

I've developed a consistend Jumper in the past few years, I could create space with 1 or 2 dribles with ease. A few months ago I started working real hard on ball handling using Phill's drills, and I can say now that I kinda see the game in slow motion, I'm always dictating the game rithm, making great reads, due do being able to keep my drible alive, and creating a humongous space to shoot my jumpers ❤

One thing I think missing is eye/head movement. Chris Paul uses his eye/head the best. Everytime he dribbles right, he looks right, every time he dribbles left, he looks left. And then mixes it up, ie looking left but walking right. Dude is a magician.

Hey Mr. PH, encourage players with smaller hands to focus on the next play when you stop the dribble. You get handed a ball...that's an invitation, you beat a defender with a counter...good move...thanks for teaching me how to play or helping.

Coach appreciate your video! I have a question, how do you train the basketball iq? My nephew play basketball in high school and I am wondering how to help him with court vision. Is it a trainable skill? And with his height he’ll probably play the center position, do you think dribbling skill is important for a big?

@user-mb6nf9wt3k Let's look at film. Watch 50 point or more games, as an example. You will see no bs waste of time dribbling like this... Seriously. Watch a few simple 50 plus games. The only player who may bust out some crazy dribbling is Kyrie. Outside of that you will see 95% of the time: Catch and shoot, catch, head fake, one dribble, shot... same with two dribbles, same with 3 dribbles, but a layup may be an option. As a pro, if you need more than 4 dribbles to score, you're not efficient. Watch video, unless it was dribbling full court, you won't see Michael Jordan take more than 4 dribbles to destroy, not only his defender, but a team. Kevin Durant, half court, 4 dribbles or less. You can really see it when a player goes for 50 plus. It is rare for that player to bust out doing any of this unnecessary dribbling. Just perfect the basic fundamentals and this stuff is needed less. Because while you dribbling like that on the court, in real life, you will have teammates just staring at you because no one knows what you are about to do, but you. I have never seen this applied in real basketball, maybe, by Kyrie. But, please share a link with me so I can see this applied in real game situation. I'm confident no one can...

@IVMON3Y I'm sure you think you know basketball... But. You will never see either of these players use this mess in an actual game. So. Not in Theory. It is fact. They are wasting their time, because they will NEVER use any of this in am actual game situation.... You are very welcome 🙏 I am grateful that you put down your crack pipe to read every single one of these words. Right to the end.
