Is NYC Way Safer than Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose Oakland, Long Beach and other major cities of California these days ❓ In terms of crime rates, homelessness and shootings 👀😑
That was nice to see. 100 dollars for three people eating in 5 different places in Chinatown. Thank God, Katz's deli is not in Chinatown.

Even with the cost of inflation Chinatown will always be able to keep their prices as fair as possible for cheap eats! Yummy!

That’s true! And a big part of it is because by design, most of the Chinatown businesses banded together years (decades maybe?) ago to buy the buildings they were housed in, and so they are never affected as badly as most other local businesses by the rental market or the economy in general. Sure the inflation we’re all dealing with right now impacts every business, but they are in a better position to mitigate that than most businesses can, especially in Manhattan.

There is no bigger bang for the buck than Chinese food.
We appreciate your effort and hard work. Always stay safe while traveling.
On my trip to NY in October 2022, I wandered around Chinatown, and ended up buying some buns at #4 Nice One Bakery. Great place to go to for some food.
Cannot wait to revisit Chinatown! Excellent restaurant review!
Making us fall in love with Chinatown food even more!

Yes! Now that's what I'm talking about. A Chinatown food crawl with the Bing Buzz. You can never go wrong with them. I want to try all these places.
Such a great video! I hope you make this a series in other neighborhoods around NYC.
We used to live in HK, now in UK (sadly) - but we are visiting NY 09-13 Feb for CNY, drooling at some of this food and will seek out these places! Thanks for the video! 🙏🏻
Another one! I just posted a reel about one of your recos in Chinatown. And now this? What a treat! Thanks man, I got to try these too

Wow Jon ! I know that I can save money if I go to Chinatown in NYC! Thanks for making this video.
Another awesome food video by jon. Ben getting famous 👏🏻👏🏻 Ben needs to have his own channel too.
as a non Asian who lived in Hongkong and china 🇨🇳 i can tell you i felt watching this vid like i was dining in Hollywood Road or wanchai street market in Hong Kong 🙌⛩💜⛩💜⛩💜🙌
Jon, nicely done as always. For three people eating at multiple chinese eateries you got excellent value for your money. Everything was mouth watering and I didn't see one item you guys dined on that I wouldn't like. Keep up the good work, and send my best to the family. Your friend Mike.
Favorite Canto spots are Wu's Wonton for sit down and Big/Dai Wong for duck/roasted meats but great choices. Alimama is indeed quite good as is the rest.
I enjoyed the variety in the choice of restaurants, great video and loved the two guests - I'm subscribing to their channel right away!

I'm a fan of dim sum. The variety you get is really good, with the right sized portions. As someone who likes pierogies, and dumplings, I'd definitely say those dumplings are a good bargain. Overall, all the food looked great. Cheers, Jon! 👍👍✌️
So much food for that $100.25! You guys did a wonderful job showing some delicious food at great prices. I can't believe you all ate like kings for that amount.

Hello Jon, been busy lately. Thanks for ur videos, good to watch it while relaxing. Btw, we went to "Nice one bakery" when we were there, so much variety, cheap and yummy.
Perfect timing, I am visiting the city (chinatown specifically) to watch the Lunar New Year parade in a few weeks! We were thinking of trying to hit up Joe's Shanghai to get the famous soup dumplings, but we dont know how easy that'll be on the day of the parade, I imagine there will be a line out the door.
Looks like I have a couple more stops to add to my trip later this week!
You and the Bing Buzz. Guaranteed fun video.
Got my dinner planned out now. Thank you!
Ming’s back !
My average Chinatown lunch is 5.50 100$ would be 18 days Of lunch for me Tai pan bakery they have The steam pork buns 1.25 I usually get one Veggie and one roast Pork thats 2.50 for the appetizer then I usually get Either Soy chow mein noodles from S Wan cafe For 3.00 That's my usual lunch lol If not I substitute The Noodles for Dumplings at Shu Jiao same price Chinatown is my favorite part of NYC
I was born and raised in New York, and miss the city so much. I’m now in Florida. Thanks for sharing.
$100 would have lasted me an entire week in NYC's Chinatown! You guys did fabulous. You were spending for 3 people so my math works out! . Thumbs up for spotting the Anthony Bourdain doppelganger, 100% agree!
Literally about to go to ALLLLL these spots asap!! lol
Definitely adding Ping's And Uncle Lou's To My NYC Restaurant Bucket List ! Thanks for sharing
now I know where to go!
Excellent collaboration 👏 New subscriber to the Bing Buzz! 🥢

You know what, I would call myself a “Real" New Yorker, and Chinatown (the Manhattan Chinatown) is one of my to go places when I want REAL Chinese food. I been to most of the restaurants in this video, but NOT all. And seriously they all look so delicious. Man, I got to go there for food again in the weekend😋😋
looks delicious
These videos are always appreciated they continue to help me venture out more and enjoy the many cultures NYC has to offer. And now am hungry smh...lol

Yummy yummy 😋
Cool video, thanks for sharing all these nice and authentic local places to try. There is this small Malaysian restaurant right off Chinatown on Grand St. in little Italy, it's called NYONYA, and it's my favorite restaurant in NYC. Food is very affordable and the quality of their dishes is very good, I recommend their Prawn Mee and Curry Mee with shredded chicken from the noodles in soup part of the menu. You won't regret it. Also, as a plus, their manu has pictures of every single item they offer, It makes it very easy to order.
Chinese version of Spanish tapas but for brunch.
Fried dumpling was my first Chinatown dumpling. This next trip coming up in February I will probably try SuperTaste. Maybe one or two other spots. Just depends on how much time I have and how hungry I am🎉
Looks like a third wheel date 😂

Hahaha 😝 you’d know
You ever noticed how flavorful the food your eating becomes when you stretch the all might dollar?
Such a good deal for $5. In my city, a dozen fried dumplings is $12 CAD.
That's a freaking awesome bargain 👏 🙌 👌 😎
omg these look amazing! I just need to learn how to use chopsticks! #embarrassed
@10:17 That looked incredible
food in Chinatown in New York, it's very delicious , I like to eat very much 。
I would also fail the "matcha munchkins" challenge
dang, now i wanna goto NYC's china town for the amazing food shown in this vid! xD
I got those buns almost every day during college. That, Wah Fung, and 1 dollar pizza allowed me to save so much money
Assisting me to try more foodies😉❤👍✌
We went to Ping’s a week ago. It was crowded, but seemed to be mostly tourists. Was kinda shocked by prices - the main courses were $20-$40, that felt quite a lot for Chinatown. We actually walked away and went to a nearby spot that felt more authentic (we were the only non-Asians there), less fancy, and with half the price.
Nice video
Love your show buddy can you find a place that makes mussels in black bean sauce ? Won Kee use to be a place there that made it there not open anymore
OMG I LOOOVE me some Ming!
I haven’t had finding ib a while! I want food!!!
Finally, Pings! Any Cantonese person knows that is the spot. Need to add Wu's Wonton King to the list.
I'll keep saying it. The only people who don't know how to stretch a dollar for food are people who don't travel, people who afraid to try something new and people only eating trendy food. Plus Ping is goated

It’s always been like that in Chinatown. Back in the old days before the internet I found amazing bargains and I felt like a secret explorer while none of my friends had no idea what authentic Chinese food was like.
Just went to ping’s it was amazing
As a body builder, yes
Now I’m so curious to try Ping, instead of going to Wo Hop which is my all time favorite for their Noodles Beef Tomato dish. I’ll probably have to stop at Wo Hop to take an order home.🤣😉 This is a great video! I’d love to see an Indian food video too.

Wow that guy does looks like Anthony Bordane. Ming is like me i like to drench it in soy sauce as well. I love sticky rice. Ben and his 38.36 cents lol. I still need to go to uncle Lou’s. I love alimamas cream puffs, I usually get the ube munchkins and Yuzu cream puffs. Ben and Ming’s are the goats of Chinatown 😎 great video Jon
Oh wow, I’ll be going there tomorrow, are all these places within walking distance of each other?
i went to chinatown in my first visit to nyc. got some live blue crabs and clams for bait. soent 15 bucks on a soursop just to find out i dont really like soursop lol awsome place by the way
Nice
I would describe dim sum as Chinese tapas. It’s small plates. It’s traditionally served during breakfast brunch hours, but there are other things you could have for breakfast. Some places even serve it for dinner now. It literally means touch the heart, meaning it isn’t supposed to completely sate your appetite.

Got lot less pork filling. There is a metaphor in there. I’ll help you - you got a semi-kosher pork bun 😂

Penny worthy meal 😋
I’m definitely going to ping 😀
cream puffs and ribs. 😃☕
I could absolutely eat dim sum everyday !!
Ping’s & Uncle Lou Restaurant needs 20% Tips You didn’t add to the spending 😂😂
I thought you'd pay more in the big apple.. in a county town 35 miles from the big city fried rice was $8 alone, no way 3 of these would be under $20, unless I hit a lunch special menu.. then 4 blocks from where I used to live if you took their buffet, it's $13.95 and their parking lot is hardly full, probably half at most. But I love my Szechuan beef, a friend turned me on to it in DC bringing some to me.. my roommate does the cooking, tries hard, but it's not it..
