I’ve seen it happen before. I had a small plastic 2 1/2 in. tube we made at work laying on the floor, and came home to the cat acting strange. Looked close, and there was a mouse hiding in it, head and tail hanging out of it just like that. The cat couldn’t have bitten thru it, but probably could have crushed it if it wanted to.

I had this exact thing happen to me before. I was hanging out with one of my friends when I got home, and 6 kittens came out from under our porch meowing. Unfortunately, it turned out someone abandoned them because there was an overturned box by the road and cat food scattered all over the grass. We couldn't keep them ourselves (my friend isn't an animal person), but we had some neighbors that came by and adopted 2 of them. The other 4 I took care of until I could find people to take them. I hope they went to some good families.

This pigeon was rescued as someone intentionally captured and dyed its feathers. It was being attacked by predators and struggled to find food. It’s illegal to do this and City of NY are looking for the culprit.

the water cleaning is simply alum and soda ash(?), the two most common agents to clarify water of silt. THe first flocculates, the second causes the material to fall out

seeing those tiny little legs trying to move had me laughing so hard, I know the poor little thing would be so frightened, but how funny did it look, the mouse would have to become part of the family after that, the tiny little thing. just thank god that they found the little sweety pie before, the dry pasta was just emptied into boiling water!!!!

I Unironically thought this was a few months ago but here we are a year later

Yeah I remember exploring that part of the map. You have to hold sneak to get around the first kitten or it will spawn 12 more once you engage. They give good xp if you tame them but it costs a shit ton of gold to keep them as pets. Just be extremely careful because there's a rare chance that the kitten raid will trigger "Momma Cat" to spawn, and at this point it's basically game over for you.

That mouse gave me so many emotions. Cuteness overload, sympathy, fear for what happened to him, fear for MYSELF if I were in that situation especially if I didn't see him before cooking the pasta, let alone the disease the tragic friend may carry and the contamination it brought to who knows where else

When you said "fear for myself if I were in that situation" my first thought was not that you were afraid to find a mouse in your pasta, but rather that you were afraid of being stuck in a giant piece of pasta. Man, I'm an idiot

0:44 This clip is actually terrifying in the full uncut version. The ape tries to bite his leg, and when the guy finally is just about to escape his shoe falls off and the ape still has hold of his ankle / calf and tries to pull his bare foot to its mouth to munch his toes (they have the jaw strength to rip them right off.) DO NOT underestimate primates. They are pound for pound much much stronger than humans.

Not technically true. Primate muscle is the same strength as human muscle. What's different is that humans have mental inhibitors on our muscles which cap the output to about 30% of the max whereas other primates don't, because our spines and joints have yet to evolve properly to handle bipedalism, and using all of our strength would damage tendons and ligaments. During a life-or-death situation those inhibitors disappear, so you literally have 3x the strength you are used to, basically the same strength as a large chimp. Which we kind of are.

@@corrupt1user Ive also heard it has to do with the fact that apes have a much higher percentage of fast twitch fibers in their muscles than humans (chimps for example have twice as much compared to humans in similar sized muscles). Makes them a lot stronger but can simultaneously make it harder to do highly precise movements with their hands for example. Just what I’ve heard, haven’t done any research lol

@@Lulu-xl5cm Yeah, there was a similar clip of a guy slapping a lion in the face over and over and grabbing the fur on the side of its face and laughing at it. (He lost a finger and the entire tendon up his arm was ripped out.) Don't mess with animals, guys. Animals are dangerous, but in cases like this with the Ape and with the Lion, If you go out of your way to mess with them, you better be ready to win a stupid prize for the stupid game.

When you become the food instead:

"dirt water" is not always the most dangerous. dirt is rather large when it comes to filtering, what matters most is the tiny microbes and if they can get through, even if you cant seem them

@@GamingLife076 boiled water helps clean water. helps kill bacteria, and you can setup a system to just get the evaporated stuff which is near flawless but hard to do
