Very cool all mous cases are good cases. I’ve used one on my old 6s and it retired in the same condition as when I got it. Now I have an 11 pro with limitless 3.0 and it has worked flawlessly after a lil over a year of everyday use. I highly recommend em if u can afford them.

Hi Dr chichi! The Limitless 5.0 for the 14 Pro Max certainly has a more traditionally protective camera rim. The Limitless 5.0 for the 14 Pro leaves one side open, however…is your phone the 14 Pro or the 14 Pro Max?

Hi Cameron! Thanks so much for your kind words!! I'm glad you are enjoying my channel. So, it has been years since I've reviewed any Tech21 cases (although I liked them at the time) , so my info is woefully out of date. I'm American, but I am currently located abroad due to my husband's job, and some companies aren't willing or able to go through the hassle of shipping review sample cases overseas. Sadly, Tech21 falls into that category, so I can't give you any up to date info. So sorry!

If Mous could update the buttons on the Mous Clarity 2.0 to the Limitless 5.0 buttons and make the bottom ports smaller to minimize dust and adjust the MagSafe magnet location in regards to the back camera and better grip, and a stronger Magsafe magnet like on a few other Magsafe cases on the market, I would buy the Mous Clarity 2.0 Iridescent Dawn with Magsafe. Any chance they will make these adjustments?

That's quite a laundry list of changes...not that I disagree with any of them! But will they be made? Not this year!! But maybe next year. They did make a lot of adjustments to their cases this year in response to customer feedback...hopefully they will continue doing the same.

Been waiting on this review thank you. Great reviews as always! Unfortunately the prices for the clear case is outrages after shipping and tax.

I hear you! By the way, Mous pricing is funny…they can vary it wildly. Right now the Clarity 2.0 is their priciest case, but that could change. Some companies set prices and stick to them all year, but not Mous. So cross your fingers…maybe they will drop the price! 🤞

Yeah, I'm really not sure why the Clarity 2.0 should be so much more expensive for the 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max. For the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus, for example, it is $20 cheaper! Mous pricing has always seemed oddly arbitrary...

The limitless cases sides feel great in the hand. I bought the clarity 2 and I’m sending it back. It’s glossy in texture on the sides and it feels weird and unpleasant to hold. I don’t know why they would move away from the matte feel.

@@TheTechReviewer Yeah the solid suit for my 14 pro max, the Grip max I really like it, I use a pop socket right now (adhesive) not the grip , but I might just use the grip. You said in your review that the Grip max blocks the Camera lenses the wide angle is that still the case?

So, I don't have the 14 Pro Max MagSafe SolidSuit yet (should have it in a few weeks at most), so I can't answer your question on the camera blocking issue. I have the non MagSafe SolidSuit version, but without the magnets in place, I can't tell exactly where the MagSafe GRIPMAX would attach and thus see whether it would be blocking the camera. And the only option which works for the iPhone 14 series SolidSuit cases is the MagSafe GRIPMAX. The adhesive GRIPMINI and GRIPMAX won't stick properly to the new material they are making their 14 series SolidSuit cases out of...

I was talking about your review on the gripmax's you said that the camera protrudded a little bit with the wide angle camera lens, and I wanted to know if you still found that to be the case, Thats why kind of a deal breaker if you wanan hold your phone while taking a picture you gotta take off the grip max thats a no no, Idk why they would create something like that, and thats kind of disspointing. Its good you told me that the Iphone 14 pro max solid suit case (Magsafe) doesn't work with the grip mini because thats something I wasn't aware of, and I was thinking about buying both and seeing which one i liked more. I think I might buy the Grip Max and the Pop socket grip with the Solidsuit magsafe case , and see which one i like better, but I just wanted to understand this camera lens blocking. Unforuntely , not a ton of reviewss on the gripmax yet.

Hi Nim! Sorry, no idea. I haven't gotten a chance to review any Peak Design products yet. Their stuff looks really good, though.

I saw another guy say the reason for the lack of the two rims around the camera is because it was causing conflict with MagSafe accessories not fitting correctly. I reckon it’ll be fine (I hope so anyway considering I bought one) they’ve done me well for the past 4+ years.

Yes, that's absolutely the case for the 14 Pro cases...many 13 Pro cases had compatibility problems with MagSafe accessories and to keep that from being a problem with the 14 Pro, a number of companies decided to remove the bottom side of the rear camera rim on their 14 Pro cases. Mous went one better with its 2 sided rim solution on the Clarity 2.0, and they extended it to their 14 Pro Max cases as well, which is interesting. I'm not any kind of an impact expert, but I think the folks at Mous are, and I'm sure they have tested this design thoroughly to make sure it is sufficiently protective. It's certainly attractive!!

How strong is the MagSafe magnet on the Limitless 5.0? Would it be strong enough to use as a car dock?

Hi Dan! It is pretty much the same as the magnets in Apple's cases. As far as car mounts are concerned, I think that is going to depend in part on the magnets in the car mount itself. Mous sells its own car mounts...I think you could expect the Mous cases to work well with its own car mounts: www.mous.co/collections/car-vent-mounts Hope this helps!

I’ve noticed from your reviews, the mous cases with speckled fabric (iPhone 12, 13 and seemingly 14) are very bent at the center. Is that something that has been an issue, or would be a concern regarding phone bending?

Hi Phoenixfaction! Sorry for the delay in answering you...I had Covid, and then got caught up in the holidays. So, I don't think any plastic case is going to bend a stainless steel or aluminum framed phone. I really wouldn't worry about that. As far as why the speckled fabric case is the one that shows the bending, I think the cases with the more rigid back materials (the aramid fiber, wood, silver pearl) act to straighten out the case a bit. The speckled fabric, being fabric, isn't going to be able to do that. But when the case is on the phone, I think it will straighten out over time because the hard, straight material of the phone will force it to. Hope this helps! And happy 2023!

Does regular clarity (without magsafe) support the wireless charging?

Hi Praneeth! It works with Qi wireless charging (the kind with no magnetic adhesion). But it won't attach well to MagSafe charging pucks because it doesn't have the necessary magnets built in.

Is the limitless compatible with camera lens protectors? If so, which one?

The Limitless 5.0 is somewhat slippery…the Aramid Fibre isn’t the slipperiest of the bunch (that would be the wood options), but it doesn’t have much grip. The grippiest option would be the speckled fabric. As for the Bounce, it will have more grip than the Limitless 5.0, but it is quite a bit bigger. Protection wise, it is hard to compare because Mous doesn’t give actual drop height ratings, but my personal opinion is that either case should be sufficiently drop protective for most people…Hope this helps!!

I love the design of the clearity 2.0 case, but could someone who has it tell me if it is not very bulky? it seems very thick, i like thin cases, but this One looks so nice.

Nice review and content but like your last subscriber said shipping and tax makes the case very expensive, I had payed €40 for the rebel case and then it was €75 shipping . DHL then charged me €30 for delivery I really don’t think this fair it’s making the cases very expensive 👏😎🇮🇪

What do you think about the price gouging that Mous is doing? The Clarity 2.0 for iPhone Pro (any of them) with MagSafe was $65 about a week ago, now they are trying it on with customers at $85, standard iPhone 14 prices remain unaltered. Their Amazon shop still have the older pricing. To me it feels shady. (Edit to be clear it was the Clarity 2.0 MagSafe cases I was referring to).

Hi Kevin! So, Mous has historically done this. Occasionally, they will have a particular product priced much higher than the other, similar models...often for no apparent reason. I guess it is a strategy of sorts? I don't think there is anything shady about it...these are their own products, and they can charge whatever they want for them. But it is kind of odd!

Good review but I’m not feeling the plastic edge around the first case. It reminds me of a 1950s diner seat. Use my phone as a juke box and order a chocolate shake with a burger and potato fries
