Its fascinating to me how many people seem to rush to getting these horses under saddle. I wouldn't mount a horse that flinchy either. It'd be like asking me to get in a car with no body frame. Its not finished yet!

Yes you are right , taking your time to do all ground work until your horse is confident , is the best thing you can do , giving a horse the time to figure things out , to many horse owners rushes , wanting to get on , take your time , like James said don’t get on a flinchy horse it’s not safe , I love the way that you teach James , you are one of the BEST !!!!!

This sir, is what we need to see more of. Not from you only but the whole horsey world of "TRAINERS". I really appreciate you showing that it is possible to work with a horse like this one. I have not seen anyone on KZread attempt to put their leg over such a horse. You sir got my attention, please continue to be the Buckaroo you are. God bless you and your family.

What do you recommend for those hotter types that get more anxious when "at rest"? I've got a TB that has decided that standing still and doing nothing is overwhelming
