Mounting A KFI Plow On My Kubota BX Because The Sidekick Never Arrived
Just wanted to give you a look at a KFI utv plow and how easy they are to adapt to basically any machine. Totally made in the USA. Finally getting ready for winter.

I know many will not use the same products but the quality on all was very good. Surplus center is a great source for hydraulic parts also but lately the shipping costs make me buy from Amazon

Glad to hear you're feeling better.
That,s a great setup I put the blade on the back of my big tractor we get about one big snow in February here in West Tenn.
Awesome job should work well snow will be flying any day now!! Stay blessed!!
nice job.just lock tight works for the leak
I like the way you mounted the plow!! The amount of weight in front of the tires plus the engine weight could really wear the front tires down!
More toys! Glad to hear you're feeling better. From high school on I hadn't taken a sick day in over 25 years. I just don't get sick, I've never even had the flu shot and I don't think I've ever had the flu. Work mandated I get the vaccine, or I would lose my job. I got the vaccine 6 weeks ago, and have been sick ever since. I'm not big with putting things in my body that anymore that I am not sure of, and now it sounds like they're going to mandate the booster as well. Be sure to take care of yourself!
Nicely done. Glad you and the Mrs. are on the mend. On my JD 4310 I use my front end loader and a rear blade. I took my rear blade and cut a strip of rubber horse mat and sandwiched it between the steel blades protruding four inches or so between the blades. I have a 750 foot paved driveway not gravel like yours. I checked the strip of horse mat thinking it was time to replace it. It’s been on there since 2008 and still looks and works great. That horse mat is made from recycled tires. Keep up the great videos.
So happy you are feeling better. Thanks for the video. Very interesting. A big insight to those of us who live in the South.
Amazing job I love 💕 your videos thanks for sharing
Wow so cool
Cool ! Sorry it's taking so long !
Nice work. I adapted a very similar kfi plow onto the loader on my 1025r
Looks like a real slick setup. Thankfully I don't need that type of equipment down here in Georgia.
Very nice set up . I would like to have sub compact tractor .
Been waiting on my sidekick since September...called Texas and they said kubota delays 4 to 8 months....craziness
You have that extra hookup, another cylinder to control the tilt would be awful handy!
Question for you. How hard was it to mount to your tractor. I currently have a BX2230 that I picked up this year. I already have an atv with a Kolpin plow on it and really don't want to keep both the atv and tractor so I would like to either remount the kolpin to the BX or do what you did and sell the kolpin with the atv.
Nice work - what are the front spindles rated for regarding weight? Hydraulic leaks can be a pain but your set up looked very clean and sturdy. Thank you for the videos.
My Kubota BX is set up with a Meteor rear mounted snow blower and a front end loader. It is also used on a gravel driveway, so it is on skids that leave a few inches of snow behind. I go back over the driveway with the loader to scrape the remaining snow down to the bare gravel, otherwise, my driveway turns to ice. I will be very interested to see how the plow works for you compared to the loader. The plow would be very useful in heavy wet snow. My rear snow blower worked poorly last winter. It does not throw the snow very far and the chute clogged up alot. It could be due to the mostly heavy wet snow, but my dealer says the unit may need service after ten years of heavy use. Any thoughts on that? Love your videos. I have been a subscriber from the start and have watched all of them thank you.
Do you have a float position with the front blade? Try the PVC pipe hack for plowing on gravel and grass.
