Since KZread and the kind musicians who share their music ....what a turn around in my life. Love the gospel songs and old timey songs as well. You guys are brilliant musicians. Please don't stop. After listening to so many other bluegrass music, I just discovered your videos today. So inspiring. I have started practising bluegrass style on my banjo a few months ago ... no one to guide me except the State's musicians on youtube. God bless you!!

I've been a regular passenger since my grandpa and I listened to the Grand Ol' Opry together in the late 40's/early 50's. Thank you , Grandpa, for buying me that lifetime pass. railroads used to be VERY particular and super-strict about running ON TIME with clockwork precision. as a public service,at certain points along a daily route, the conductor and engineer would check and syncronize their expensive railroad-approved {usually Swiss-made} watches and on the conductor,s mark, the engineer would give the whistle a blast....for miles around, folks within earshot would stop whatever they were doing and set their own clocks and watches to that whistle. ON TIME or heads would roll.....! especially passenger trains....folks were paying good money for those tickets, especially First Class passengers traveling on business who might have to catch a connecting train to their final destination and they had a right to figure they,d arrive exactly on time at whatever station it said on the railroad,s schedule/timetable.
