Mountain lion runs inside California business
A mountain lion was captured after running into an Irvine business. Authorities were able to tranquilize the big cat shortly after. No injuries were reported.

I'm just glad that the mountain lion didn't get killed or that nobody got hurt.
My buddy told me there were a lot of cougars in Irvine.

This is the time of year when yearling males have to get their own territories. Happens every year about now.
I have been seeing them a lot lately. There were two that ran across the street Monday in Lake Forest @ Glenn ranch. Please be careful!

The last of the population that lived in the Santa Ana mountains then? Its crazy but sad to see the war has forced them into our cities. There are about 30 cougars roaming those mountains, they're closed in by city from all sides, it's honestly crazy to think that there are such dangerous beasts right next to our cities.

mtn lions are way less a threat than mutts. True animals like mtn lions and coyotes (all common in so cal) rarely attack people, they avoid us. Dogs are nasty, noisy unnatural animals that are more human aggressive (not to mention loud and ugly).

It’s just scared also they should tranq it with super strong tranqs. It probably has a lot of adrenaline that’s why it’s probably ineffective

I hear people saying "ohhh don't mess with it". FUCK THAT. My wife walks my little 1 year old and 2 little pups around this neighborhood. That thing is getting a dirt nap 100% if I have the opportunity. stupid cats.
