I've joined the ranks of trunk campers, I only have a GMC1500 so I got a small one but it's not a pop-up. I was kind of apprehensive of the pop ups so I didn't get one. I'd show a pic of it but can't attach here. Headed for nomad living in a couple of years. I had one of those Coleman Stoves that took the gas bottles, but every hurricane and every ice storm, Walmart was out of them. So I bought the Coleman stove that takes liquid fuel because Walmart would have a shelf full of that fuel. Now that I got the liquid Coleman, I bet Walmart quits carrying the liquid fuel but I got 4 gallons when I went. ❤❤❤❤❤

Beautiful scenery….you guys are in the right place and at the right time…I couldn’t imagine myself driving along those mountains….nice to see Austin more…you guys are beautiful…the flower was a touching moment…stay safe out there…hugs from Canada ❤❤❤

Always enjoy your videos. One of my last isolated camping trips was when I took myself and two friends into an area where we were lifted in my helicopter. Spent a week just a few metres from the top of a mountain beside a glacier fed lake. The solitude is so great. Really makes one enjoy nature.

Austin is so lucky to have you in his life, and of course, I’m sure you’re just as lucky. You are so adorable.

@catg2282 Yep, and in the thumbnail for this one, looks like Austin shaved off his beard (which had a little white hair in it). Honestly, I have zero issues with an age difference. My husband and I were 14 years apart and my parents were 27 years apart, so no shock here! No reason for Austin to be shy. 💜

Yes, do you know why? Mostly because of AirBnB driving up property prices so far that people cant afford to live there anymore. Its destroying entire communities. If everyone bought a little camper or mororhome instead of staying in AirBnB, everything from housing prices to rentals would be back down to reasonable levels.

@@JayRedden28 - Good point! I have a nephew who works in apartment acquisitions, essentially IMO being indirectly responsible for the rise in rents. He finds a complex in need of a little TLC (undervalued for the area) and buys it, improves it, and doubles the rent.

💗 Scrubzz rinse free bath sponges might be helpful. They're dry disposable sheets. You add a little water, and they lather up like a wash cloth. But you don't have to rinse after. Just dry yourself with a towel. They're used for washing elderly and sick people who can't get in the shower or tub, but they'd be good for camping, too.

Glad your up high and cold - otherwise the mosquitos would be horrible. I recognize that soup bowl - that brand is awesome. I buy dried seaweed from my local Asian market. Seaweed: Nutrient dense, dried - so light, and when hydrated filling - and gives a nice 'undertone' flavor to soups. When I was younger after a softball game before going to a bar - wet wipes work great but they dry out fast in the hot car - you can re-hydrate them (not as effective) with stuff and even just water. 💜💙

Peaches running wild through the forest reminds me of my Newfoundland when I take him up to Scotland and let him swim in the lochs and the sea.

(I wonder if YT knows I already watched this on Patreon, or do I watch it all again here? ) TBH, I wouldn't be up for your rural adventures (except for having Peaches play). You set a coping standard I could never aspire to. But I love you and your videos. 💖
