Mount Precipice is located outside the southern edge of Nazareth in the cliffs, it’s also known for Mount of the Leap of the Lord and Mount Kedumim or Mount of Precipitation the Arabic name for the mount, Jebel Qafzeh which translates to “mount of the leaping” and it’s identified in the Christian tradition as the mountain from which the Nazarenes attempted to push Jesus from after infuriating them with his sermon, declaring himself as the Messiah (Luke 4).
The sheer sloped mountain is 397 meters high and offers a panoramic view of the patchwork Jezreel Valley and Mount Tabor, especially nice at sunrise as you can see in our Footage.
