This weeks VLOG is all about the big ride to the Mount Pleasant Twilight Christmas Market ……
It’s a grand day out in more ways than one as Farmer Chris is recovering from prostate surgery and sitting on a bike at the moment is not his idea of any kind of good day out! 90 minutes there with two breaks, 90 minutes sitting around eating too much food, and 70 minutes to get home. The great thing about going to this kind of market on a motorcycle is the lack of storage space for shopping YIPPEE! This is a good thing as 2024 will be one of our most costly years EVER. We’re putting together the BIG NEWS for our New Year video so watch out for that.
We’re trying very hard to give you a feel for the Kawasaki Z650RS and at the same time make engaging video content for you to watch. We both have helmet camera built in, and I ride with a GoPro Hero 11 and a GoPro Hero 9 neither of which seem to be playing the game at the moment. I managed to get useable footage going to Mount Pleasant but by then both of the GoPro’s had given up the ghost with constant file error messages. As a last resort I will try some new SD cards - it’s all that’s left to try to solve the problems. Thankfully, the FORCITE helmet camera is reliable but sadly not stabilised. Ah well, it still gives good footage. Hopefully there will be a mod sooner or later which offers some kind of gimbal effect - fingers crossed.
